Yang Fan shrugged his shoulders: "I don't know either, I just went in to play pool, and once I was done, I left."
"Just like that?" Zhang Xiaojun stared at Yang Fan with wide eyes.
"Otherwise?"
Scratching the back of his head, Zhang Xiaojun really wanted to visit the pool hall to see what was going on, but he just didn't have the courage.
"What are you still dawdling for? Go home!" Yang Fan urged.
Zhang Xiaojun snapped out of it, followed Yang Fan, and got into a taxi they hailed on the roadside.
When they arrived home, it was already four in the afternoon. Liu Shufang was on edge all day, and upon seeing only Yang Fan return, without the sight of her family, she couldn't stop sighing.
Only Tang Zimo understood that as long as Yang Fan took action, there was no problem that couldn't be solved.
She didn't ask, nor did she explain to her parents, only offering nonchalant reassurances.
