[ Chapter XXVIII (28): "ARTHUR AND MORGANA" ]
September 1st. For people all around the world that day is after the celebration of Halloween. A simple day, perhaps in that day some people will start a resolution that'll last for mere days.
Perhaps to others it's an important day with other meanings, perhaps not important at all. But to some students— 129 students all around the world, ages 10-12.
That day is the start of their official journey as wizards and witches alike. Making them explode from joy, with some not having been able to sleep the nights prior because of excitement.
[ "It's here!" ]
[ "It's here!" ]
One certain twins residing in England is such an example. With their wands clutch to their chest, they simultaneously jumped out from their bed and ran out to meet their matron.
The dark circles under their eyes were evident to those with keen eyes, but they didn't care. Their official journey as Hogwarts Students is about to start, and they need to prepare for it.
The twins— Arthur and Morgana share the same features with little to no change at all. Both having the same hair color, same eye color, and same mannerism that if not for their hair length then one would easily confuse one with the other.
The matron did, the volunteers too, and even the children that they play with would often confuse them with one another. Not that they mind though, they deliberately do mess with people when given the chance.
The matron in seeing them became frustrated, even more so when she found out that the two of these children could perform magic... She talked extensively with the Headmaster, a side of her hoping that it was a mistake, but alas, it seemingly wasn't.
Followed by him days later giving the twins a wand, books, and even teaching them?!! Oh, the matron almost fainted when she noticed their beds floating days later...
From what she heard from the weird-so but friendly Headmaster, the twins are apparently gifted in magic, and have a bright future in their studies... So she reluctantly supported the two.
And also because they didn't want to be adopted, this is the best and most peaceful outcome for two trouble makers. A 7-year tuition in a private school, wherein they'll learn how to wield magic not for damage but for protection.
A school wherein if they choose, then they'll spend at least 9 months in, for 7 years... Learning Alchemy, Potions, Transfiguration and other weird but familiar subjects she had only heard in stories.
Most were painted in a dark light from what she knew, which made her worry... But thankfully there's this assurance given to her, and every single guardian of the students.
That for the start of the school year, and every 3 months or so, that the guardians would be able to spend 3 days in this so-called Hogwarts, which eased plenty of her concerns...
The matron accepted this arrangement of course, wanting to make sure that her surrogate children are safe... Especially with their... Unique quirks to say the least.
[ "Arthur, Morgana!" ]
[ "S-stop levitating that chair!" ]
Oh how stressful they are... Perhaps that Hogwarts Scholarship was the best thing to ever happen for them, and for her sanity.
She prepared a heartwarming meal for them, and for the other children also who only thinks that they are going to a renowned private school to study. Which to them who knows of the quirks of the twins, became confused and shocked.
But nonetheless they accepted the fact, and even congratulated the twins, the volunteers and the other staff inside the orphanage did so too. Only the matron, and the twins knew that they weren't going to a simple private school...
Instead of going to a normal school the twins are going to a place called Hogwarts, to learn magic and not normal basic science...
After the meal, the showering, and preparations the twin alongside the matron could be seen carrying their own luggage. Exiting the orphanage with some children behind, and the staff.
Arthur noticing that the matron is strictly reminding the staff behind them, nudged his sister as he asked a question; [ "Hey, what do you think Hogwarts look like?" ]
Which had been asked a thousand times by him, to Morgana which replied with the answer she always says to that question, [ "I've no idea." ] Before focusing back on the book she's reading.
Bored, but also excited. Arthur merely nodded at her reply, having gotten used to it... He knows that she's also excited, but unlike him is preparing herself for school... Advance learning.
Which he hates... So he sits on the steps below, legs kicking on some small pebbles on the side as he tries to patiently-impatiently wait for the matron to finish talking.
[ "I wonder if it's filled to the brim with students. You know, witches and wizards like us." ]
[ "The Professors, I wish there's a Centaur Professor, you know. They're cool!" ]
[ ... ]
Bored, Arthur spoke his mind. Low enough for others not to think that he's crazy, but high enough for his sister who's reading on the side to hear... She listened attentively while occasionally nodding.
Seconds later, the matron finally finished talking to everyone and looked at the twins, addressing them; [ "Let's go, Arthur, Morgana." ]
To their excited gaze, they did so. Luggage which contains any and all necessities that they might need being carried by them each. About to cross the street, or so the two thought... They stopped.
[ "Matron, how do we get to Hogwarts...?" ]
[ "Yeah, do we take a train ride, or something?" ]
Morgana was curious and asked, followed by Arthur... But to their dismay, the matron didn't seem to have any answer to their question; as she answered truthfully... [ "I-I have no idea, dear." ]
The twins have been theorizing how they would get to Hogwarts, and even bet some valuables in turn... Arthur said that it'll be through a secret tunnel under the tunnel, while Morgana theorized that it'll be through flying brooms...
Which sounds weird, but it has been confirmed by their part-time tutor, Professor and Headmaster that yes, witches and wizards can indeed fly on broomsticks as what they are called.
Either Arthur or Morgana have seen it in action, but nodded in turn. Accepting whatever their Professor said, I mean, the man was able to turn a paper towel into a small mouse.
What would he gain via lying? Short answer, he doesn't. So the twins looked confused at their matron, still wanting to find out how they'll get into Hogwarts.
The matron seeing this remembered what was said to her, and the other guardians. On the procedure on how they'll get to Hogwarts. You see, the Hogwarts Acceptance Letter contains two parts.
First for the children congratulating them, and second for the guardians to read which contains something-something about a vehicle; and the procedures on how to summon one.
The matron having read the letter repeatedly knows how to summon it, but doesn't have the means to do it. For it requires a wand, something only wizards and witches have.
[ "I believe we'll be needing the uses of your wands." ]
[ "This...?" ]
Arthur pulled out his wand, followed by Morgana. Not at all bothered by the soon-to-be weird looks the other bystanders would give them.
[ "How would this help, matron?" ]
[ "Well, your Professor said to stick your arms out towards the curb, with your wands out. That's what I know" ]
The matron tried reminiscing about the letter she read, but ultimately no matter what she does... That's seemingly what the letter said, to stick out the children's wands towards the curb...
Then a transportation specially made for wizards and witches in need would come.
The twins looked at one another, being shrugging their shoulders as they did what they were told... And seconds later, they could hear something from the distance... Closing in the more time passes, sounding like a bullet...
[ "Is that...?" ]
[ "A bus?!" ]
