Chapter 342 - Chapter 343 - The First Civil War (XI)

"It's true when they say that the more you hunt your prey, the more you become what you most abhor; that is me. The Hunter turns into the monster he once swore to kill." Thoughts of the God Emperor of Humanity on his Ruby Throne around the year 40,000 After the Conquest.

-----------

Aenar looked at the Warp and could not help but notice that the psychic dimension was denser than ever. Which was not surprising, since the uncontrolled expansion of the human race in the universe was the perfect food for the Warp.

However, looking at the four gigantic eggs in different parts of the Warp, as if choosing their own fiefdoms, Aenar showed a slightly solemn look. The Chaos Gods were being born, or at least, three of them.

Slaanesh still had a good time before being born, because even in this universe of wars, death, and destruction, depravity and corruption were put aside for the sake of survival. So, Slaanesh would be the last of the Chaos Gods to be born, with the help of the Aeldari, who were really working hard to provide a faster birth.

The four cosmic eggs trembled, sensing Aenar's presence. The four seemed happy with his arrival, as if missing an old friend after a long reunion, but don't be fooled.

They felt nothing but pure pleasure in completing their own objectives. Nurgle wanted to turn Aenar into his slave and spread diseases, decay, and death throughout the known universe.

Tzeentch wanted to have a game of chess with Aenar, a game where the universe itself was a chessboard and civilizations were the pawns in this enormous game that would decide the survival of all living beings in the universe.

Slaanesh just wanted to turn Aenar into her personal pleasure slave and nothing more; having a trophy man like Aenar was enough to feel superior to her chaos siblings.

Khorne was the simplest of the four; he just wanted to have a long and lively battle with Aenar, like two generals meeting on the battlefield. A bloody war, full of death and violence, but also a war where martial honor was the absolute law.

And he really liked Aenar's Twenty-Two Legions of Adeptus Astartes, which Khorne wanted to inspire and create his own legions. Just imagining that he would fight Aenar on the battlefield was enough for the Lord of Skulls to feel an explosion of pure ecstasy coursing through his body.

Aenar couldn't help but feel a little pressure; being the main target of the Chaos Gods was stressful. If the King of the Aeldari Gods was dying of fear of Slaanesh's birth, he was under more pressure.

However, Aenar was not afraid, or rather, he had never felt fear in his life. It could be said that he was quite excited, despite feeling enormous pressure. These were Chaos Gods, cosmic entities, who were born at the height of the universe just by being born.

"It seems you are happy with my arrival." Aenar said with a calm tone; his purple eyes stared at the scene before him with a calmness that could frighten a person.

Four laughs from different beings sounded in Aenar's ear, whispers that seemed to be at enormous distances, but at the same time, extremely close.

Aenar rolled his eyes and ignored the crazy whispers, asking him to kill everyone. Their whispers, although annoying, could do nothing more to Aenar's immortal and immemorial soul, although it was still irritating to hear crazy and insane whispers. It was like hearing a choir of billions of demonic voices at the same time.

Although Aenar was not a Cosmic Entity like the Four Chaos Gods, he himself was a god, who could even corrupt other beings with his own corruption.

Essentially they could not be different, but Aenar was an Entity of Time and Space while the Four Chaos Gods were entities that personify the evil of the universe, entropy, and chaos itself.

Honestly, Aenar was tempted to reveal that Slaanesh was in the material world, which would cause a lot of trouble for the Chaos Goddess, but he restrained himself. The final plan was to kill Slaanesh through Aegon; he couldn't risk everything to satisfy a little of his desire to provoke.

Looking at the four Chaos Gods, Aenar, who had come to see exactly what year they would be born, left the Warp and opened his eyes. He found himself back in the Throne Room, sitting on the Ruby Throne, a monstrously large and imposing throne.

"Do you wish for anything, Imperial Father?" Naerys, who was next to the Throne with her hands on her belly, noticed that her father had opened his eyes and asked with a gentle tone.

"I wish for nothing, daughter." Aenar shook his head and leaned comfortably on the throne. Unlike the Iron Throne, which was simply hell to sit on, the Ruby Throne was extremely comfortable.

Aenar wanted to go back to the past and meet Aegon I, show him the benefits of a comfortable throne. Unfortunately, that was not possible. Not that it was impossible, but once he did something like that, the timeline would branch even more, and it would be a real hell to observe even more timelines.

"By the way, tell Horus and Fulgrim that they must speed up the cleanup on Pricylax II as quickly as possible; I want to see them next to Alysanne." Remembering something important, Aenar told Naerys, who nodded her head and began to send his orders.

As he looked at the Throne Room with a calm gaze, Aenar couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, sensing he was being spied on, and looked at Naerys.

Huh?

Aenar looked at Naerys, more specifically at his daughter's belly. His gaze passed through the clothes, skin, and organs, reaching the uterus. He couldn't help but be surprised to find a developing fetus.

What made things stranger was that his daughter's hymen was still intact, so Naerys had not started having sexual relations.

Aenar checked again to see if he was seeing things, but looking at the developing fetus that already had purple eyes, he couldn't help but think that something was terribly strange.

He started to see the infinite timelines.

One million... ten million... one hundred million... one billion, ten billion...

More and more timelines unfolded before Aenar's eyes. It looked like an infinite space with infinite lines that showed the future of each timeline. However, the more he analyzed the timelines, the more Aenar could see that there was nothing.

An anomaly?

That was the only thing Aenar could think of when considering the fetus in his daughter's womb. Stroking his chin, he looked at the fetus and was surprised to see that the fetus really seemed to be looking at him. The source of the feeling that he was being spied on was coming from the fetus.

Honestly, this displeased him quite a bit.

"Naerys, do you feel anything wrong with your body?" Aenar asked with a worried tone. Although he didn't think there was anything wrong, he was still concerned, especially with his daughter's fragile body.

Naerys, who was sending her father's orders, stopped what she was doing and looked confusedly at her father. She looked at her own body and didn't feel anything wrong; she was perfectly fine.

"I don't feel anything wrong, Imperial Father." Naerys replied truthfully.

"You are pregnant." Aenar spoke with a calm tone, causing Naerys's usually gentle and elegant expression to turn into the purest disbelief and horror.

"Imperial Father! I swear I haven't broken my vows." Naerys didn't care about the shocking news; she just wanted to explain that she had never betrayed the vows she made a thousand years ago.

"I know, I'm not doubting you, but you are really pregnant." Of course Aenar knew that his daughter hadn't betrayed her own vows, but it was an irrefutable truth that Naerys was really pregnant.

"Perhaps an Anakin Skywalker?" Aenar muttered to himself. He could see that the daughter in his daughter's womb had no male DNA, meaning she had no father. It was as if the psychic energy itself had created a fetus and used his daughter as a surrogate mother.

"Balance? But towards which side, the side of order or chaos?" Looking deeply at the little girl still being generated in his daughter's womb, Aenar wondered with a curious look.

Note 1: I just released Game Of Thrones: The King's Court Magician. Check it out and see if you like it. If you do, give it some power stones and add it to your library.

Note 2: Honestly, Naerys's daughter was something I had been thinking about inserting for a long time, but I finally managed to write an interesting plot. Also, she will be an Elden Ring character. Hint: The Kind.

(Although it's not hard to guess AHAHHAHAH!)

Note 3: I spent the whole day with my mother at the hospital; the woman simply drank minimal amounts of water for a long time and developed gallstones. There are about nine or eleven stones; the exact number cannot be seen, but there are many.

Drink water... in my mother's words, it feels like someone is constantly punching her in the stomach; even breathing hurts...
