William's face hadn't changed at all from a year ago, but his eyes revealed something deeper than before.
"You've changed," William said to her.
Mia maintained a faint smile on her face. "Yes, I've become more mature and steady than before."
"How have you been this past year?"
"Mm, pretty good."
William nodded. "The reason I came to see you this time is actually to remind you of something."
She had thought it was just a casual greeting between friends meeting for the first time after a year apart. She hadn't expected the greeting to end there, and at that moment, she actually felt a slight chill in his tone.
