Mike referred to the world he had lived in as Earth-1, while the future world he now resided in was called Earth-2.

Through his conversation with Gwen, he discovered the branching point between the two worlds—the Twilight Wolf World.

On Earth-2, Gwen had never been to the Twilight Wolf World. The one who went there with Mike had been Gwen from Earth-1.

At the very moment Mike traveled to the Twilight Wolf World, this parallel world came into existence.

In other words, this parallel world only appeared because Mike had crossed over between worlds.

Mike wore an expression of helplessness.

He truly hadn't expected something like this to happen.

After that, father and daughter chatted again, discussing matters of this world and Gwen's experiences.

After Mike's disappearance, Gwen lived with Clark, and the four siblings searched for Mike together.

Unfortunately, before they could find him, Starry Sky Corporation began targeting both the X-Men and the Avengers.

They knew these superheroes would eventually become obstacles in their way.

So they resorted to slander, assassinations, and even used Starry Sky Corporation's clones disguised as supervillains to battle them. Through these methods, they eliminated the majority of superheroes.

By the time Gwen turned eighteen, she had already founded the organization known as Star-Exterminators, beginning their resistance against the corporation.

"You've worked hard."

Mike gently patted Gwen's head, his heart aching for her.

Gwen smiled, a calm and collected smile.

After all she had been through, she had grown strong enough to handle it.

"What about Thor? When the Avengers were in danger, didn't he show up?"

"He didn't, but Loki did," Gwen recalled. "He said Thor had gone searching for some kind of Infinity Stone and hasn't been heard from for a long time."

Pausing, she added, "If it hadn't been for Loki, even Bruce wouldn't have made it out alive. Loki actually helped us a lot afterward, otherwise we never would've lasted this long."

If not for Loki, the Star-Exterminators would have been wiped out by Starry Sky Corporation in their earliest days.

"Who would've thought that guy would actually be reliable when it mattered most?"

Mike muttered softly.

Just then, Gwen suddenly exclaimed, "I forgot about Mira!"

"Mira?"

"Our other companion."

"We already sent her the coordinates. She's on her way here right now."

Harry poked his head in from the doorway to report, then quickly retreated.

Clearly, they had been eavesdropping this whole time.

Did that mean her crying face just now, and the way she had acted spoiled with her father, had all been overheard?

Gwen's face flushed red, and she shouted furiously, "Do you guys have a death wish?!"

Peter and the other two quickly shouted in unison, "We didn't hear anything!"

"Ahhh!"

With an angry roar, Gwen charged out like an enraged tigress, and the three-eyed creature that had been lying quietly beside her also rushed out with her.

Chaos erupted outside.

New York

That morning, the destruction of Starry Sky Corporation's headquarters had, in just a few hours, spread and become world-shaking news.

Starry Sky Corporation, a company specializing in the management of superheroes, had actually had its headquarters destroyed?

When the news first broke, most people assumed it was fake. But as more and more battle footage surfaced online, shock turned into suspicion.

And then, just one hour ago, when Starry Sky Corporation officially confirmed the news as true, the entire world boiled over.

A mysterious enemy had appeared, not only killing countless superheroes at Starry Sky Corporation's headquarters but also demolishing the headquarters itself!

In an instant, this mysterious figure became the most powerful enemy Starry Sky Corporation had ever faced, stirring endless curiosity.

In response, Starry Sky Corporation announced a grand summoning of superheroes, vowing to eliminate this enormous threat.

The Hero Summoning Order of Starry Sky Corporation!

The moment people saw this announcement, their blood boiled with excitement.

After all, such a summons only appeared when an enemy so powerful emerged that even one—or several—superheroes couldn't handle them alone.

This meant an epic battle of historic proportions was about to unfold!

All at once, people began to anticipate it, their hearts burning with passion.

Jason Stryker looked at Starry Sky Corporation's surging popularity and wore a satisfied smile.

This was exactly the effect he had wanted.

But what he hadn't expected was that the mysterious man would go out of his way to help Spider-Man.

Thinking of the battle footage from the small town of Chamonix, France, Jason Stryker's expression darkened.

That mysterious man was even harder to deal with than he had imagined.

"Psychic abilities?"

He murmured, a cold glint flashing through his eyes.

If that was the case, he would have to send in even stronger clones.

Kent Farm

Although many years had passed, the couple Mike had hired, Bob and his wife, were still looking after the farm. Though too old to do much themselves now, their son had taken over their work.

In addition to tending the farm, the couple still cleaned and maintained the house every year. So, despite being unoccupied for so long, the house and everything inside remained well preserved, aside from a layer of dust.

After confirming the location of Gwen's companion, and setting Gwen and the others to clean the place, Mike opened a portal and brought the girl over.

As the portal opened, Harry stepped through.

A few seconds later, a woman followed him out—a seductive beauty with delicate features, wearing gold-rimmed glasses and sporting a braided ponytail.

She glanced curiously at her surroundings. The moment her gaze landed on Gwen, her eyes lit up. She spread her arms wide and rushed toward her, pulling Gwen into a tight embrace. While squeezing Gwen's backside, she cried out, "My dearest Gwen, I haven't seen you for three whole hours!"

Gwen, utterly exasperated, pushed her away and introduced her to the man beside her. "Mira, this is my dad, Mike Kent."

"Your… dad!!"

Mira's voice shot up an octave. She immediately spread her arms wide, about to hug Mike as well, when Gwen blocked her path, gritting her teeth and whispering angrily, "I'm warning you—don't you dare!"

"Dare what? Of course not! If your dad is here, then he's my dad too!"

Mira put on a look of absolute seriousness.

Suspicious, Gwen eyed her companion, then reluctantly stepped aside to reveal Mike.

Mira extended her hand politely. "Hello, Mr. Kent!"

"Hello."

Mike shook her hand briefly.

Mira adjusted her glasses, and without warning, activated her clairvoyant ability.

The next second, she cried out in delight.

"Wow! So blessed! So perfect, that thing is just—"

"Shut up!"

Gwen, blushing furiously, clapped a hand over Mira's mouth and shouted, "Say one more word and I'll tear your mouth off!"

Mira quickly nodded, mumbling indistinctly, "I promise I won't say anything."

Gwen snorted and let her go.

Rubbing her mouth, Mira suddenly asked Gwen, "So… do you need a stepmother?"

"Go to hell!"

"Ahhh!"
