Days passed, and tonight they would be serving a gala, as they were the best hostesses. They were transported there.
They arrived way earlier and everything was set, prepared, and ready for the guests.
They started to arrive, and they were at the back to begin serving the drinks.
"Come." The headmistress called them.
Turn the wrist, and they were stamped with numbers,
"Those are the tables you will be serving."
They nodded, she had gotten no.1, Luna took a tray and made her way. She got to the table, her heart beat fast.
Why her? Of all waitresses.
She put herself together and poured some wine in their glasses. Luna could feel Ace's gaze on her.
He was intensely watching her and everyone on the table. She felt beyond nervous, why was he looking at her like that?
He was not trying to hide, he was open about it. He did not care about who watched, he was sitting, enjoying the view.
"Can we request a new waitress?" It was a lady that she had never seen before. Sadie was there too but she could see that the lady also had an interest in Ace, most did but they had dates.
"Of..............."
"You're not going anywhere." It was Ace.
She nodded quickly, "Yes Sir."
Luna carried on and there were lots of eyes on her and not pleasant ones.
When she finished and headed back,
"You told me you didn't want to serve him." Sienna accused.
"It's not my fault that I was given this number." She snapped, Luna was tired of everyone making her life a living hell.
"I will be watching you."
That enraged her, who did she think she was to give her such a statement,
"And I don't give a shit Sienna, go cry about it. As a matter of fact, let's switch tables."
"You know we can't do that."
"So shut up Sienna and let me do my job, you're not my supervisor or anything. Mind your own business and table."
She went to the back to get more items for their table and was getting over it. She went back to their table and began changing some things.
Luna was very upset, so she did not care about whom was glaring at her, not her fault, they would take it out on her but not Ace.
A bunch of cowards she thought,
"I need a smoke."
Luna went to get his ashtray, "This way Sir."
Luna led him outside and they were alone,
"Do you want me to have a word with them?"
She was confused, "Pardon?"
"I see they made you angry, and it's not your fault."
Luna was taken about how considerate he was being,
"No, it's alright, it will only make matters worse for me."
Ace nodded, "You look beautiful."
"Thank you." She replied in confusion.
"Remember that if I can't have you, no one else can," Ace replied in a chilling tone that made her afraid.
It was not a threat but a dark promise.
