Lance was standing in the middle of the deck. Scurvy dogs begin to surround him from all angles. His eyes went back and forth as he tried to spot who was going to come for him first. He didn't have to wait long, as on his right a fat pirate wearing a blue striped shirt and hat ran at him with a cutlass. Lance wound up his right arm. Leaning to the left. Before shifting his weight back to the right and putting a deep slash into the chest of the pirate.
Lance remained on the defensive as the pirates came at him and tried to take their shots at him. Parrying sword slashes, dodging stabs from knives, and only taking the chance to strike when an opening made itself available.
After cutting through a few more of the pirates. Two of them came at him straight on. One on his right and another on his left. Holding his axes to his sides, he prepared his nerves to take out the two with one move. As Lance got ready to cut the two down. He felt a splatter of blood hit his back. Looking behind him, he saw an unnoticed assailant who had gotten uncomfortably close to his back. He watched the assailant fall to the ground with a dagger sticking out of their neck. Examining the source of the dagger, he found Mary standing where some handsome fellow had broken the railing.
"Hey! That chick killed Terry! Get her!" A few of the guys who were at Lance's back broke off to chase after Mary.
Lance began to turn around to pursue them. But he forgot about the two who had distracted him in the first place. As punishment he took two blades to the back as they followed through with their swings. Cutting through the defense of his custom-made shirt. And leaving two slashes in the back of it. His back was cut into. This resulted in streaks of blood running down his back.
Red text appeared in his vision before he blinked it away. You have taken 5 damage from Cutlass. You have taken 5 damage from Cutlass. You are bleeding. You will lose 1 HP point per second for 15 seconds.
Lance stumbled forward a few steps before turning around. Gripping his axes and swinging them in a diagonal motion. Slashing the two pirates away and ending their lives.
Seeing the group of pirates running after her. Mary grabbed three knives between her fingers and began to run alongside the railing. She led the pirates around the ship, drawing them away from Lance. Six men were just a few meters behind her. Most of them carried swords. But one of them had a club and the last had a flintlock.
Mary moved quicker than any of the pirates could have predicted while in her maid outfit. When the sound of the flintlock's hammer rang off the wall of the above-deck storage. Mary leaped up with a grace that allowed her skirt to remain completely down and covered her underwear.
Now on the railing, Mary used her superior speed and balance to run along the thin wooden rail.
Lance remained in a standstill with the ten or so men. With clever maneuvering, he moved all his enemies across from him. This maneuvering forced them against the railing while Lance stood in the center of the deck. Hunching down, Lance got ready to pounce at them. Wanting to take a huge chunk of them down in one go.
As he got ready to jump, the whole ship heard a roar come from the other ship. "Meeeeen! Where's my treasure?" From the deck of their ship, a large ball shot into the sky. It looked like a mega cannonball had been shot at the cruise vessel. Lance felt a shiver run up his spine seeing what had to be a three-hundred-pound cannonball fly at him. The other pirates also appeared horrified as they turned to look behind them.
"Oh no! Lady Alvida!"
"Give us more time, captain!"
"It's not our fault!" Each of the pirates seemed to plead with whoever had shot the cannonball. As the explosive reached the peak of its arc, then it began to fall toward them. And as it plummeted toward the cruise ship, he saw that it wasn't an explosive fired by their captain. It was their captain!
A large, spherical woman crashed onto the deck. Perfectly spherical with a blue coat over a pink plaid button-up shirt. She wore white shorts that barely clung to her waist. She had a white cowboy hat. She held in her left hand an oversized mace covered in spikes. "What's the hold up?" Her voice had a gravely deep texture to it. "You idiots can't take down one weakling?"
"L-lady, Alvida. We're just about to get rid of him! I—I think this is the Pirate Hunte—" His plea was interrupted before he could complete it. Alvida swung her mace behind her and knocked the pirate who was begging and the one next to him over the railing and into the sea. "Quiet! You're annoying me. The rest of you, tell me who the most beautiful pirate on the sea is!" The other pirates stammered as they tried to find their words. Lance spoke up, addressing the fat lady directly.
"Hey, fat lady. Are you really the captain of this crew?"
The remaining pirates' jaws all hung open as they stared at Lance. "Crap. This is bad." Alvida gripped the mace in her hand. She spun her body with a speed and force that was deceiving for her size. Lance could read her swing. And that big iron monstrosity was aimed right at his head. With moments to respond, he brought up both his axes, and the two weapons collided together.
Lance gritted his teeth as the two remained in the struggle. The strength summoned in her mace was impressive. He didn't know anyone on the surface could summon so much strength with one blow.
During their blow, the buttons on Lance's shirt popped off. His shirt fell open, revealing his washboard abs. Seeing him shirtless made Alvida's eyes pop out a bit. Her eyes transformed into heart shapes. "Woah! What a hunk!"
Lance's face grew concerned and he jumped back from the collision. Lance allowed Alvida to finish her swing, which resulted in her destroying a part of the cruise ship. Picking her mace back up. Alvida's eyes took on a heart-shaped appearance. "What a little snack! It looks like you're strong enough for me. Rather than smashing your face for calling me fat, I'm going to take you as my new husband!"
Catching his breath, Lance looked the large woman up and down once again. His face grew long with disgust thinking about being in bed with her. "Uh…no thanks." Despite her appearance. Perhaps she would have her uses as an enforcer. "But…different deal. I'm a pirate myself! And I think I'm going to take you as one of my crew. I need a lapdog."
The hearts drained from Alvida's eyes. Replaced with pure anger. "What? I'm Iron Mace Alvida! I'm worth five million, berri! And you want me to be a lapdog?" Alvida gave a tiny hop as she swung downwards to smash Lance again.
Anticipating the attack, Lance kicked off the ground to evade the blow, allowing it to smash into the deck. "Don't worry. You'll enjoy being my slave."
