Chapter 521 - Chapter 521 Bowing Down

If the magical beasts of this world could use Nen, they would undoubtedly be Enhancement Types.

Through Nen, they could amplify their already powerful bodies to a level unattainable by humans… simply put, they became as solid as steel plates.

The ruler's roar, infused with Nen, easily shattered the flashlight. The sonic force was strong enough to instantly rupture an ordinary person's heart.

Tonpa, protected by his Nen, was unharmed but still terrified. Had it not been for the weeks at sea that had somewhat tempered his resilience, he might have already collapsed to the ground.

Law calmly watched the ruler's demonstrative action. He raised a hand to gently stroke Bruna, who was trembling with fear and emitting a deep green glow, and whispered, "Don't be afraid. I won't let them harm you."

The moment the ruler roared, Law had promptly channeled Aura to protect Bruna. Otherwise, given Bruna's fragile body, she might have been shattered by the sonic waves.

Bruna did not speak, only her deep green glow indicating her extreme fear.

"Biscuit." Law said, looking at her.

"Understood. Be careful." Biscuit nodded. She would stay behind to protect Tonpa and Bruna.

Law handed the terrified Bruna to Biscuit and slowly walked toward the ruler, whose Aura overflowed with icy coldness. As he moved, Shin materialized in his right hand.

A wisp of black smoke emerged from the back of Law's hand, transforming into a black cat that landed on his shoulder.

"No matter how small a mosquito is, it's still meat." Kuro licked his paws. Human black pages would maximize gains, but given the current situation, he had to make do with other creatures' black pages to at least increase his Nen Reserves.

Law stared at the ruler in the shadows and said calmly, "Permission granted."

Hearing this, Kuro happily transformed into a shadow and dashed into the darkness, his body growing to the size of a leopard, ready to unleash carnage.

But at that moment, a Nen Circle overtook him, extending past his body and enveloping the parasites not far beyond the light range.

[Invisible Sniper]

In the darkness, the parasites within the Nen Circle had their heads silently burst apart, exploding into clouds of blood mist, instantly killed.

Kuro halted his steps, landing amidst the scattered corpses, his forward-thrust claws not even retracted yet.

He turned back, looking at Law, who was approaching calmly, and gritted his teeth, "You bastard!"

One moment, Law had agreed, but the next, he had stolen the kills, not even leaving scraps behind.

Law ignored Kuro, his gaze sharp as a sword piercing the ruler.

Within seconds, another wave of parasites surged from the darkness, swiftly devouring the corpses on the ground and occupying their positions. They then swarmed toward Kuro.

Now, Kuro had no time to worry about kills. Forced to retreat, he was unwilling to waste too much Aura against such a fierce onslaught.

Law's instant mass slaughter caused the ruler's aura to falter momentarily. From the Aura Law emitted, the ruler realized Law was targeting him.

Immediately, the ruler retreated, swinging its thick fish tail at the parasites like a cue ball, sending many of them flying toward Law's position.

'You want to use your subordinates' lives to drain my Aura?'

Law immediately saw through the ruler's plan. He initially intended to expand his Domain again and crush the parasites flying toward him, but he changed his mind and only killed a small portion of them, clearing a path.

Then, he crossed through the opening, ignoring the parasites landing around him, and chased after the continuously retreating ruler.

Kuro took the opportunity to pick off the remaining parasites, aiming to slaughter them with minimal cost.

The ruler realized Law was not an easy opponent and that his subordinates' lives were cheap enough to be used as expendable resources.

Thus, he chose the safest strategy, exhausting Law by sacrificing his underlings.

The sheer number of parasites severely hindered Law's pursuit of the ruler.

Every time Law created an opening in the parasite ranks, it was instantly filled. It was unclear how the parasites reproduced, but their numbers were staggering.

Despite this, Law steadily closed the gap. The ruler, sensing the danger, adjusted his tactics. While circling and draining Law, he directed a portion of his forces to attack Biscuit's position.

Seeing this, Law smirked inwardly.

This actually worked to his advantage.

The parasites feared strong light, but the ruler could overcome this. However, by forcibly using them as cannon fodder, their fear of light became irrelevant.

Nearly a hundred parasites lunged toward Biscuit. With just a glance, her analytical ability allowed her to instantly find an optimal path. She either struck or retreated, safely evading with Bruna and Tonpa in tow.

Though one hand was occupied for holding Tonpa, Biscuit's physical combat skills were terrifyingly strong. With just one hand, she shattered the incoming parasites while retreating.

With a portion of the cannon fodder diverted, the obstruction against Law diminished, allowing him to close in on the ruler.

The ruler had sent his forces to attack the other two, hoping to distract Law. Instead, he had dug his own grave.

Seeing Law closing in, the ruler stopped avoiding combat. His earlier use of cannon fodder was not due to weak combat prowess but a strategic choice based on the situation.

Now that escape was impossible, he had to face the challenge head-on.

The ruler swung his sharp claws, tearing through the air. Enhanced by Nen, his speed was astonishing, like a black lightning strike.

Law narrowly dodged, and the claw struck the ground, causing the incredibly hard calculus surface of the Rock Island Crab to burst apart.

As the claw missed, the ruler still had his powerful fish tail. Before Law could counter, he whipped his tail toward Law.

The tail, over two meters in diameter, swept forward rapidly, covered in a solid layer of Nen, creating a formidable momentum.

Law's eyes narrowed. He expanded his one-meter Domain while channeling over half of his Aura into the blade of Shin.

The Domain slowed the tail's strike. Law stepped forward and swung his blade.

In the darkness, a flash of blade light gleamed, and the tail was severed cleanly. Following closely was the ruler's roar of pain.

His proud tail, which he relied on, had been cut so easily.

The ruler could not believe it. The tail's hardness was the foundation of his strength, meaning other parts of his body would also be vulnerable to this human.

Thoughts flashed through his mind, quickly turning into retreat.

However, the long blade was faster. In his moment of distraction, it swiftly severed both his arms.

Swish, swish.

Just as the tail was cut, his upper limbs followed.

"Damn human!"

The ruler shouted in bizarre syllables, his body shuddering as he plunged into the darkness, attempting to flee.

Against enemies with such hardened bodies, the special effects of God Hand were maximized.

Law would not let the ruler escape. He controlled several pieces of shattered calculus, pushing the ruler back.

The earlier claw strike that cracked the calculus ground made it easier for Law to control. With just a thought, he could manipulate the broken calculus to serve his purpose.

The ruler could use Nen but was likely a pure Enhancer without systematic techniques.

After being pushed back by the calculus, he had his remaining limbs severed by Law. He fought like a cornered beast but was ultimately subdued, with his organs extracted by Law.

If magical beasts could use Nen, their greatest advantage in combat was not destructive power but physical defense, often hard enough to despair Nen Users.

However, before Law's God Hand, even the ruler had to bow down.
