Alex finally knows that he can use Susanoo in the dire situation. But blocking Acnologia's most powerful Dragon Roar still damages him, especially since his Susanoo is still not perfect.
He doesn't have much magic power to keep fighting for a long time, so he decides to gamble everything with his next attack.
Alex looks Acnologia in the sky while grabbing his last Truth Seeking Ball. He has used 3 for his 1st attack and 5 for the previous attack to counter Acnologia's Dragon Roar. There were 9 Truth Seeking Balls, so only 1 remains now after 8 were used.
He places the Truth Seeking Ball in front of his mouth and it floats there. Then he points his 9 Tails at the ball to supply all of his magic power into the Ball.
Light blue and dark red magic bubbles appear around the Truth Seeking Ball and merge into it, creating a very big dark purple Tailed Beast Bomb with a Truth Seeking Ball as its center.
Acnologia can sense that a strong attack is being made, so he also starts eating even more magic power to create another Dragon Roar as strong as before, his most powerful Dragon Roar.
"True Tailed Beast Cannon!" After pouring all of his remaining magic power into the Tailed Beast Bomb, Alex turns it into a beam and shoots it at Acnologia.
It's so strong that the recoil even pushes him back a little. The beam is also quite small compared to the Tailed Beast Bomb's size because Alex wants to concentrate its power to pierce through Acnologia's Dragon Roar.
But Acnologia actually has the same idea. He shoots a smaller Dragon Roar but with the same power. So it has a denser power packed in a smaller area, and their attacks have similar sizes.
Their attacks shoot very fast and clash in the middle as soon as they shoot them. The clash already sends a very strong shockwave everywhere, pushing even the airships behind Alex.
They are pushing back and forth, sending flashy magic sparks and strong shockwaves everywhere. It doesn't last long though as they shoot the remaining power of their attacks and creates a very powerful explosion that even throws them back.
Their attacks were equal, which is a great achievement for Alex to match a monster like Acnologia. But it's a bad thing now because he has used all of his remaining magic power into that attack.
Acnologia can eat more magic power, but Alex doesn't have any sources with enough magic power for him to absorb so he'll have enough magic power to continue fighting Acnologia.
Fortunately, his friends understand his problem when they see Alex's golden bright body is dimming. They can tell that it's because he is running out of magic power to keep his current form.
Without hesitation, the ones on Battle Fairy transfer all of their magic power to Alex. The others on the other airships quickly realize what happens as Alex's body starts glowing again and they immediately do the same.
If they can't help by fighting Acnologia alongside him because they are too weak, then they will help by giving Alex all of their magic power so he can keep fighting.
All of them can see that Alex has a chance to defeat Acnologia. His only problem now is the lack of magic power. So they just need to help him get enough magic power to continue fighting Acnologia until he wins.
This might be the literal definition of the Power of Friendship that Alex approves. He can get stronger because his friends are helping and supporting him, literally helping with their power, not just motivation.
But of course, Acnologia won't let them help Alex recover his power. He likes fighting strong opponents, but he hates losing, and he feels like Alex can defeat him if Alex has enough energy to keep fighting him for a long time.
So he charges toward Alex to attack and stop the magic power transfer. But suddenly, 5 giant lights of different colors shoot out of the Battle Fairy. The lights come from the 5 time-traveling Dragon Slayers. Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, and Rogue.
Everyone is surprised, but the 5 of them are even more surprised because the lights that shoot out of them are actually their Dragon parents they thought to have died.
Alex is the only one who isn't surprised. But he's confused about why they are coming out now. If they came out earlier, they could help him fight Acnologia even with their weakened states.
He finds the answer immediately as soon as he looks at them though. They are very weak. The feared legendary Dragons don't even have as much magic power as even the weakest Wizard Saint.
But when Alex thinks about it, the answer also comes by itself. Unlike in the series, they are staying in their Dragon Slayers' bodies for 7 years longer because no one was frozen in time for 7 years.
That means the Dragons had transferred much more magic power to the Dragon Slayers than in the canon. It's also the reason why Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy could grow significantly stronger, because they kept being supplied with magic power by Dragons.
But that also means their chances of being Dragonized have become much lower and possibly have completely gone. In Natsu's case, it might even affect his Demon Seed, but Alex can't be sure about it.
"IGNEEL!"
"METALICANA!"
"GRANDEENEY!"
"WEISSLOGIA!"
"SKIADRUM!"
Of course, the Dragon Slayers immediately call their Dragon parents that they haven't seen for years. They even thought their Dragon parents had died many times, but now they suddenly appear.
"Let's talk later, kids! There's something more urgent right now." Igneel immediately takes off toward Acnologia who has gotten more crazed when seeing 5 Dragons suddenly appear.
Metalicana passes Igneel and hardens his body before bumping his head against Acnologia. The clash is so strong it creates a strong shockwave albeit not at the level of Alex's clash against Acnologia before.
To everyone's surprise, Metalicana is thrown back quite far and he feels a lot of pain. Gajeel is especially surprised because when it comes to body hardness, he believes that Metalicana won't lose to anyone, yet Acnologia can damage Metalicana's iron head.
But it manages to stop Acnologia in his track, so Igneel can shoot his big Fire Dragon Roar right in front of Acnologia who counters it with his own Dragon Roar.
They seem equal for just a moment until Acnologia's Dragon Roar breaks Igneel's Dragon Roar and hits the Fire Dragon King, throwing him far to the back.
But while he clashes with Igneel, Acnologia is attacked from 2 sides. Weisslogia shoots his white laser Dragon Roar from the left and Skiadrum sends his pitch black Shadow Dragon Roar from the right.
Surprisingly, Acnologia blocks their Dragon Roars simply using his palms. Their attacks only leave marks on his scales that will disappear after he wipes them.
That doesn't just show how strong Acnologia is compared to them, but also how weak they've become. After all, they've stayed in their foster children's bodies for around 14 years now. That's enough time to lose their power very significantly.
But they can't stay any longer. Not when they see a chance of defeating Acnologia, not when their children are in danger again, and it's also time to leave their children's bodies because their Dragonization problem has been solved.
Grandeeney roars to give power buffs to the other Dragons. She also heals Metalicana and Igneel from afar before moving in front of Alex. With a smile, she puts her right hand at Alex's chest, healing the damage he accumulates in the battle.
Because of his golden body that is made out of magic power and light, Alex's injuries are not visible. But he actually has quite a lot of damage, especially inside because Acnologia's attacks were just so powerful.
"You shouldn't endure everything alone. No one is strong enough to hold everything alone." Grandeeney suddenly talks to Alex like a concerned mother.
"He seems to do everything alone and still become stronger than anyone." Alex glances at Acnologia who is fighting 4 Dragons at once without losing his ground.
"Yes, if you just see from the outside. But inside, he has lost his mind and got consumed by his power. He, who was once filled with kindness, is now just a clump of anger and madness. If you want to be the strongest but become like that, then you are free to do it."
Alex looks at Acnologia after Grandeeney says it. Honestly, he always thinks that Acnologia is a cool character. But if he's asked if he wants to be like Acnologia, then the answer is no.
He doesn't want to live alone in caves and only interacts with people in battles. Half of his happiness comes from social life with others. Even the NEETS on those stories interact with people, albeit online.
"Thanks, I'll handle this from here. You owe them some explanations, so just talk to them. It's not like you can help too much with your current strength."
Alex takes off after everyone finishes transferring their magic power to him. With all 10 Wizard Saints here and so many Mages giving their magic power, Alex finally recovers all of his magic power and is ready to destroy Acnologia.
