Everyone waits for a while, but the Hidden Boss doesn't show up even after more than a minute.
People are confused, thinking that there's a kind of problem, and some even think that the Hidden Boss is just a gimmick.
Alex also thinks that it's just a gimmick and will never appear because it doesn't exist.
That is until some people realize that the counter of the monsters' number shows that there are still 1 B-Class and 1 D-Class monsters.
They've been staring at the players' points all this time, forgetting about the counter of the monsters' number.
When the commentator announces it, Alex sighs before trying to look for the remaining 2 monsters.
Some people think these 2 monsters might not even exist and are simply counted to make sure it's impossible to summon the Hidden Boss.
But Alex still needs to show that he tries to look for them so people won't think that he'll give up very easily.
He searches half-heartedly by moving around the previous floors for a while without expecting anything.
But then, he hears something, a faint rustling sound coming from a higher floor.
Alex goes up and tries to find the source of that sound. He finds the B-Class monster trapped under a lot of rubble.
This is the floor where he was rampaging by turning into Mini Isobu and rolling around everywhere like a Yoyo, destroying everything.
He sighs because it seems this one is his mistake. So he kills it and before he can search for the last monster, the 5 hours time ends.
Everyone is visibly frustrated. Some even wonder if the last monster even exists.
These monsters are artificially made, so it's easy to just not create 1 monster but say that it's there among a thousand monsters.
Or maybe they can just hide it somewhere hard to find. No one can find it anyway, so the Hidden Boss would never show up.
Still, everyone is happy by the fierce battles shown in this event although they are disappointed about the Hidden Boss.
"Too bad, Kabo. Just 1 more monster and the Hidden Boss will appear." Mato the Pumpkin Man says to Alex after he gets summoned out of the giant temple that quickly disappears.
"Does it even exist?"
"Of course, it is. We just hid it to make this event more challenging. Actually, some monsters are hidden, but all of them except this last one were found, kabo~."
The screens then show the scenes of the few hidden monsters that were found by the players. They vary from D to A-Class, only the S-Classes don't have hidden monsters.
Alex was pushing through fast, so he didn't find any hidden monsters. But his rivals found some because they couldn't advance as fast as him and explored the floors more carefully.
"So where's that last monster?" Alex still wants to know where it was.
"Well, we've tried to look for it because all the hidden monsters have been found, so we were also confused. We found it, but that's...." Mato hesitates to answer.
To answer his question, the organizer shows it through the magic screens. The monster is crawling around confusedly with a broken leg in one of the towers.
Everyone is confused until the screens show a Mahe using Fire Magic to fight some D-Class monsters on his way up the tower.
One of the monsters got its front left leg burnt, but its injury wasn't fatal enough to kill it. It fell onto the base of the tower, unable to climb and chase the Mage.
As for the identity of that Mage, it's Nobarly from Quatro Puppy who now has his jaw drops in surprise.
Everyone also stares at him before shaking their heads and sigh, making him feel depressed.
Alex taps his shoulder to console him. "We all wanted to be fast, so it couldn't be helped. I should've just blown the whole structure to kill all the monsters."
Everyone is stunned by Alex's last remark, but they ignore it quickly and look at the scores when the commentator finally announces the last result.
1st: Alex (10 S-Class, 39 A-Class, 56 B-Class, 82 C-Class, 60 D-Class)
2nd: Jura (5 A-Class, 19 B-Class, 91 C-Class, 71 D-Class)
3rd: Erza (6 A-Class, 18 B-Class, 83 C-Class, 69 D-Class)
4th: Kagura (4 B-Class, 16 C-Class, 89 D-Class)
5th: Orga (3 B-Class, 14 C-Class, 86 D-Class)
6th: Macbeth (14 C-Class, 63 D-Class)
7th: Hibiki (55 D-Class)
8th: Nobarly (47 D-Class)
Then, with the points of each class being like this,
S-Class: 10 monsters × 50 = 500 Points
A-Class: 50 monsters × 20 = 1000 Points
B-Class: 100 monsters × 10 = 1000 Points
C-Class: 300 monsters × 5 = 1500 Points
D-Class: 540 monsters × 3 = 1620 Points
(A.n: Sorry again, I first made the S-Class monsters 5 and D-Class 545. But last chapter I forgot and made 10 S-Class monsters. So I changed the number of S-Class monsters 10 and the D-Class 540. Also, I miscalculated the previous total points of A-Class. It should be 1000 points in total like what's written above, but I wrote it 400 points in total, so I fixed them again.)
The total points are as follows,
Total Points:
1st: Alex = 2430 Points
2nd: Jura = 958 Points
3rd: Erza = 922 Points
4th: Kagura = 387 Points
5th: Orga = 358 Points
6th: Macbeth = 259 Points
7th: Hibiki = 165 Points
8th: Nobarly = 141 Points
There are some gaps in the points they get because of their difference in strategies.
Alex's score was very high because he moved fast and avoided fighting over prey with others.
Jura and Erza also have high scores because they only compete with each other.
Meanwhile, the others behind them are almost moving together all the time since they entered the main building, so they kept fighting over the leftover prey.
It was also because Alex, Jura, and Erza killed most of the monsters, so the ones behind couldn't hunt that many and were forced to compete against each other over the remaining monsters that weren't killed by the top 3.
Anyway, with such a result, the tournament standings actually don't change despite the changes in their points.

The next event is the 4th day's Battle Round, which is a Tag Battle. Each team sends 2 representatives to fight in this round and they quickly make decisions.
After a short lunch break, the organizer announces the matches for the Tag Battles.
1st Match: Blue Pegasus vs Quatro Puppy
(Ichiya and Rabbit vs Bacchus and Rocker)
2nd Match: Mermaid Heel vs Lamia Scale
(Ultear and Risley vs Lyon and Yuka)
3rd Match: Sabertooth vs Heaven's Runners
(Sting and Rogue vs Yukino and Sorano)
4th Match: Fairy Tail A vs Fairy Tail B
(Alex and Gajeel vs Laxus and Natsu)
"They really do it." Lucy slaps her forehead.
She predicted that the organizer might make both Fairy Tail teams face each other in this last Battle Round, and it turned out to be true.
Some people also have suspected it because what's more interesting than making 2 teams from the same Guild fight each other?
In the series, Sabertooth took the spotlight because they were hailed as the strongest Guild in Fiore.
But now, most Guilds hold similar power and Sabertooth won last year when the big Guilds weren't going all out.
Furthermore, there's Alex this year who took most attention from people.
So people are more neutral in this tournament, having different champion favorites.
Fairy Tail teams also have shown great skills, dominating the tournament from the beginning with their 2 teams taking the top 2 spots all the time.
That's why Lucy predicted that the organizer will make both Fairy Tail teams fight because the battle between the top 2 teams will surely be very anticipated.
Because of that prediction, Lucy asked Alex to represent their team because if Fairy Tail B also thought the same, they would send Laxus, and only Alex can defeat Laxus in their team.
Thankfully, Alex still has a lot of energy left even after the Pandemonium event. Wendy also helps him remove some of his fatigue and recover some of his stamina and magic power, so he is ready to fight.
Now they think that it was a good thing the Hidden Boss didn't appear because Alex didn't need to waste more energy, so he can fight in the Tag Battle as well.
