Chapter 192 - 192. Careful and Careless

Before the other players could enter the main building, Alex had already cleared some rooms. This place is really built like a big temple though, so there are many rooms.

Fortunately, the structures are simple or this will also become a labyrinth. If so, then 5 hours won't be enough to clear this place.

The doors connecting all rooms are wide, so the big-sized monsters can pass by easily. These monsters also actively approach the players, so they won't have a hard time looking for the monsters.

Alex moves really fast, killing the D-Class and C-Classes monsters that appear on the early levels while moving down to the next floors with stronger monsters.

He doesn't stay on the same floor to kill all of the monsters. His plan is to kill a lot of them, but not too focused on them, so he can keep going to kill the higher class monsters too.

The Tailed Beasts told him that if he focused too much on the weaker monsters, he won't have time to fight the stronger ones.

Besides, by leaving some of the weaker ones on the early floors, he can slow down the other players.

Once the other players enter the main building, they will start competing over the monsters, and he would join the competition if he stayed.

It will just waste too much of his time and energy. So it's better to just advance and fight the monsters in the locations that haven't been reached by others.

That way, he can monopolize the monsters even though they are getting stronger.

His strategy is working quite well because the other players are now getting busy fighting the D and C-Class monsters in the early floors.

Jura and Erza arrive on the 1st floor almost at the same time.

They aren't entering the main building through the same place, but they soon meet in the wide 1st floor main hall.

The other fast players like Orga and Kagura also join in soon.

They don't have any choice but to enter the main hall because it's the place with the most monsters in the early floors and all their entrance rooms are connected with it.

The main hall is very wide and it's 3 floors high, so it covers 3 floors by itself.

There are many monsters here, all of them are D and C-Classes.

Alex has killed some on his way to the 4th floor, leaving the rest to block the other players.

Jura who arrives first quickly kills the monsters, but they just keep coming.

They are also somehow gotten harder to kill even though the D-Classes don't really get stronger.

The cause is actually the wide space here. They can move much more freely in a wide space like this big hall compared to the rather narrow tower.

Then, there are also the C-Class monsters that aren't just stronger, but also smarter than the D-Class ones.

Their differences in skills and power aren't that great, but when they fight together with such a great number, they can do a lot of things.

There are more than 100 C and D-Class monsters in this hall. More are awaiting for their chances in the rooms around the main hall.

Even if they are weak, killing them all will take time, that's why Alex just skips them and slips onto the next floor.

It's proved when Jura has just killed 4 monsters, Erza already enters the room. Both of them don't disturb each other and just hunt their own prey because there are many monsters here.

But it changes once Kagura enters, and then Orga also arrives.

They become wary of each other, so they use more power on each attack to make sure they can kill a monster in a single blow to avoid getting their prey stolen.

Macbeth's arrival soon after Orga makes the competition fiercer and sometimes they even attack the same targets.

Their spells also sometimes hit each other because of that, and it actually lets the monsters escape instead.

They want to just move to the next floor, but monsters keep pouring in from the rooms on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors that are connected to the main hall.

Meanwhile, Alex is monopolizing the lower floor while the others are busy in the main hall.

He already faces the B-Class monsters, but they aren't threats to him even though they are stronger than the C-Classes.

Of course, he needs to use more power, but he still can kill them in 1 shot. With his speed, he also can reach their positions before they can get away.

The B-Class monsters start to appear on the 6th floor. So he just slipped through the 4th and 5th floors too, only killing the monsters that were on his way.

Those D and C-Class monsters will slow down the other players, so he can kill the higher-level ones.

Alex focuses on the B-Class monsters and ignores most of the C-Classes to efficiently get more points.

After killing most of the B-Class monsters on the 6th floor, he moves to the 7th floor that is dominated by B-Class monsters unlike the 6th floor that still has more C-Classes.

The number of monsters reduces, but their power increases a lot. They also start working together, making them even harder to defeat.

So Alex decides to change his tactic and that means transforming into another Tailed Beast.

He transforms into the Humanoid Gyuki form, enhancing his speed and power with lightning to move even faster and kill the monsters with just a punch.

In his Humanoid Gyuki form, Alex also becomes strong enough to throw a monster onto another one, killing both monsters at once using the impact.

He also just breaks through the walls to enter the rooms because it's faster than checking through the door one by one.

Alex moves fast and after he thinks that he has killed most of the monsters here, he moves to the 8th floor.

A-Class monsters finally started to show up here, mixed with many B-Class monsters.

These A-Class monsters are surprisingly much stronger and tougher than the B-Classes. They have a high jump in power.

Even with his Humanoid Gyuki's Lightning Punch, Alex can't kill the A-Class monsters with just 1 attack. He needs 3 punches on the same spots just to crack their hard exoskeletons.

It doesn't irritate him though. Instead, he is happy that he finally gets decent opponents.

The A-Class monsters' attacks are strong, be they physical or magical attacks.

Each attack has the power to cause a serious injury even on Humanoid Gyuki's tough body.

"Hmm? What if I fight hardness with hardness?"

Alex thinks so before transforming into his Mini Isobu form. Now their attacks won't damage him because of Isobu's very hard shells.

The problem is, he can't move fast now, if he moves normally that is.

Isobu has a way to move very fast, by curling and rolling his body like a ball.

Alex does that and he keeps rolling to hit the monsters with his hard shells. The spikes on his shells also increase the damage on the monsters.

With his hard shells, he can ignore their attacks and just keep charging at them because their attacks can't break through his shells.

The audience is dumbfounded by his new fighting method. They get even more impressed when he shoots fast and strong water bullets everywhere while rolling, hitting the monsters that are scattered in the room.

While Alex is already facing the A-Class monsters, the other players are still struggling against the weaker monsters.

Erza and Jura have moved to the floor where B-Class monsters start to appear while the others are still focused on the C and D-Class monsters that are still roaming around.

There are just too many of these C and D-Class monsters. They can't kill all of those monsters even until Hibiki and Nobarly arrive after taking their time killing the D-Class monsters in their towers.

Erza and Jura still have quite a lot of magic power even though they are tired, so they move forward to challenge the stronger monsters.

Alex still left quite a number of B-Class monsters, so Erza and Jura are now stopped by these B-Class monsters that are flocking together with the C-Class ones.

The other players are too tired to fight the stronger monsters, so they just target the weaker ones. If they kill a lot of the weaker ones, they'll still get a lot of points anyway.

Some of them even regret using too much power in the beginning because now they are low on magic power and can only hunt C and D-Class monsters.

They underestimated the number of these monsters and now they pay the price of their carelessness.
