It was Monday.
It had been exactly one week since Connor and I moved into Ashford House.
One week.
Seven days of waking up in the same bed. Seven days of matching slippers. Seven days of no flights, no hotels, no "I'll see you next month."
It had been nothing but bliss. The hardest part was the routine. Or rather, learning Connor's new one.
For two years we were apart. And for two years before that, Connor was 3am alarm, protein shake, ice bath, train, gym, repeat. Rugby, rugby, rugby. He lived and breathed it.
I thought that was just... Connor.
Turns out, living apart for two years changed him.
