Edward picked me up and carried me to his chair where he sat me down on his lap then pressed kisses all over my face. I was sniffing and crying but at least I had managed to compose myself enough that I could actually see his face.
"I just came back from the bank and was still planning to surprise you," he smiled, "I'm guessing Louis got word first."
I nodded wondering why my voice had suddenly decided to abandon me. It seemed all the stress of the past day had completely dismembered me.
I felt wrecked but hopeful. Confused but happy. I had so many conflicting emotions that I knew if I tried to get a grip on them all I would have a mental breakdown very fast if I wasn't careful. I just had to let the emotions be and for once I didn't want to fight them.
