At the sound of the doorbell, Damien attempted to pull back from the kiss…
But Lane wouldn't let him. He grabbed Damien by the neck, and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss and refusing to let go. So what if someone was at the door? They didn't expect any visitors! So there should be no reason for them to interrupt their moment to open the door!
Unfortunately, whoever was at the door, was just as persistent as Lane. They continued to ring the bell, then Damien's phone rang (coincidence? Or was it not just a random person?)…
And then, after a few minutes, it went silent.
Only for the lock to turn a moment later, opening the door. And a person walked in.
Damien's apartment was just a tiny studio. One room serving as a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, with only a small separate bathroom. The moment you walked in, you could see it all.
Including the bed on which Damien and Lane were getting hot and steamy.
