"To a Forbidden Zone?" Damien furrowed his brows, pausing for a minute before pointing out, "It's illegal."
But Lane only rolled his eyes in response. "What isn't these days?"
"Plenty of things aren't."
"Yeah, boring things!" Lane sighed, sprawling on the table. "Well, I can just give you a presentation on some fields out of town somewhere, although it'd be easier if there were some monsters to hunt!"
"…Using your abilities without authorization is also illegal."
Lane shrugged his shoulders. "I know, that's why I suggested going to a Forbidden Zone. Since we would be breaking the law anyway, it wouldn't make that much of a difference to break another law as well, would it?"
…What kind of logic was that? Left at a complete loss for words, Damien could only stare at Lane in silence.
