Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Nami’s Resolve! Arlong Obliterated in a Flash!

Two Billion!!!

Please, check again!

What happened to fair prices?

What happened to honest deals for all?

Why is it that when it comes to me…?

Twenty billion?! Even if I worked my whole life, I'd never save that much!

In the Fairy Tail guild guest room, Nami was on the verge of tears, mentally ranting and silently screaming in frustration.

But...

"If this expensive price can truly eliminate Arlong and save everyone, then no matter the cost—it's worth it."

"Still… what did that Guild Master mean by 'installments'? Is he really making me work here to pay it off…?"

Tonight, for the cat burglar Nami, would be a sleepless one.

The next morning.

It wasn't until 9 a.m. that Nami, with heavy steps and tired eyes, finally emerged from her room.

"Good morning, Miss Nami!"

Mira greeted her warmly, offering a beautifully prepared breakfast.

"Thank you, Miss Mira!"

Nami replied with gratitude and began chatting casually with her.

From their conversation, Nami confirmed something she had begun to suspect.

"Where's the Guild Master? Where is he now?"

Having made up her mind after breakfast, Nami asked directly.

"The Master? He's already waiting for you on the deck."

Mira answered with a smile.

Nami gave a small nod, then pushed open the door and stepped outside—standing behind the man known as Sullivan.

"Have you made your decision, Miss Nami? Time is running out."

Sullivan spoke calmly, not even turning his head as he gazed into the distance.

Nami froze.

She looked around.

Her pupils shrank.

Only now—after Sullivan's words—did she realize they were already sailing in a sea she knew all too well.

In the distance...

A small black dot came into view.

That was... her home: Cocoyashi Village!!!

At that moment...

Nami understood.

Sullivan had no intention of scamming her.

He hadn't set an absurd price to scare her off.

Instead, he used actions to erase all her doubts.

Nami took a deep breath, preparing to risk it all.

"Guild Master Sullivan, please help me destroy Arlong and his crew!"

She took a single 1 Beli coin from her pocket and placed it into Sullivan's hand.

"Your request... is accepted."

Sullivan smiled gently, closing his hand around the coin.

Right then—

The sea surged.

A massive sea cow burst from the waves, blocking the path of the Fairy Tail ship.

It was Momoo, the sea beast raised by Arlong's crew.

Nami gasped in shock, her pupils dilating.

She opened her mouth to warn them, but—

In the next second—

Sullivan simply pointed.

ZAP!!!

A flash of dazzling golden lightning.

The sea cow was charred black on the spot and sank beneath the waves.

With Nami frozen in stunned silence...

The Fairy Tail ship roared forward at full speed—straight toward Arlong Park.

One minute later.

The sea gate of Arlong Park was smashed open.

The Fish-Men who had been drinking and laughing in the early morning suddenly panicked.

"Who is it?!"

"Who dares to barge in? Don't they know whose territory this is?!"

"No matter who you are, if you interrupt our fun—you're dead meat!"

As the Fish-Men shouted in anger—

Nami, still overwhelmed by shock, suddenly snapped back to reality.

Years of grief and rage, long buried deep in her heart, surged to the surface.

She summoned her courage, stepped to the front of the ship, and yelled with all her might:

"ARLONG!!!"

"Is that Nami?! That's her, right?!"

"Boss Arlong! That ship—it's Nami's!"

"Hey, Nami! Have you gone mad?! You know what happens if you cross us!"

But Nami stood firm despite the jeers and threats. Her gaze locked fiercely onto Arlong.

"Arlong, I've had enough... Everything you've done to me—and to Cocoyashi Village—ends today."

"I won't let you do whatever you want anymore!"

Her voice was sharp, her words resolute.

At first, the whole park fell silent.

Then—it erupted into mocking laughter.

"Hahaha! Did I hear that right?! A weak little human like her wants revenge on us?!"

"Hmph! We can't just let that go, Arlong. Traitors only have one end—death."

"Since Nami wants to be brave today, let's kill everyone in her village just to make a point!"

"Great idea! I'm in!"

The Fish-Men roared with laughter.

From a seat on the beach, the shark-man Arlong stood, grinning broadly.

"Nami... so, you've found yourself a backer, huh?"

His eyes locked on the Fairy Tail insignia.

"Boss Arlong, I think that's one of the new guilds active in East Blue. If I remember right, it's called Fairy Tail..."

One of the officers spoke up with a frown.

"Fairy Tail, huh? Hmph. I thought it'd be something serious. Turns out it's just that? Nami, even a smart woman like you got tricked. You really think someone like him can beat me? How stupid can you be?!"

Arlong sneered with disdain.

But Nami didn't flinch—her eyes burned with unwavering resolve.

After witnessing Sullivan obliterate the sea beast in an instant...

She no longer had any doubts about his strength.

"I don't know what that man promised you to make you betray us like this… But I wonder… will you still be so smug when I toss his head at your feet?"

Arlong grinned cruelly, staring straight at Sullivan beside Nami.

But—

The next second...

Arlong's pupils shrank dramatically.

Because—

Sullivan vanished from where he stood.

ZAP!!!

A streak of golden lightning lit up the air.

Suddenly—Sullivan was right in front of Arlong.

The sheer pressure made Arlong stumble back instinctively.

When he realized he'd actually been pushed back by a human, his rage exploded.

"So that's your last will, huh?"

Sullivan's voice was cold and detached.

"You bastard! You're just a human—!"

Arlong grabbed his massive sawblade sword from beside him and raised it—But he never finished his sentence.

Sparks of lightning danced around Sullivan's hair.

He raised his right hand—And brought it down with a flick.

BOOM!!!

RUMBLE—!!!

The sky thundered with divine fury.

A blazing beam of light, brighter than the sun, a fusion of golden and crimson lightning, descended from the heavens and struck Arlong dead-on.

In an instant—

Arlong's entire being came to a halt.

His movements—His words—His life—All ceased to exist.

His body charred into ash, then crumbled away into dust.

In this world, even the lightning powers of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit couldn't instantly kill...

But Sullivan could.
