"They're fine, recovering well according to the healers, everything should be good in the coming weeks," Nulissa responded and Jax nodded.
"Good, keep me updated on them," Jax said, planning to leave.
"Jax," Nulissa called and he turned to her.
"Thanks for everything!" Nulissa said.
Jax thought for a moment, stepping closer to her and kissing her for a brief moment, his hands holding her alluring body as they locked lips, and then, soon after, the kiss finally broke, Jax licking his lips as he spoke, "No problem,"
The kiss with Nulissa was a brief, pleasant distraction. Jax's eyes ran across Nulissa's body, remembering her in his arms, the alluring sound of her moans and reminding himself to take her again sometime soon.
He turned and walked away from the Medical Facility without a backward glance, his long strides eating up the polished obsidian floors of the palace corridors.
