Third Person's POV
Twin crimson orbs that reflected the pale moonlight had suddenly fixed upon her with chilling precision.
There was no drowsiness in that gaze and no confusion about what was happening around him, but only cold, sharp awareness, as though he had been watching her all along.
"What were you doing just now, elf?
Elis froze at the sudden voice in her kneeling position.
She slowly raised her head and met those two crimson orbs with her own panic filled emerald ones.
"N-Nothing," she finally stammered after a good five seconds of recollecting herself, her voice trembling.
"I-I was doing nothing.
W-What do you mean by that tone?
I had just arrived to tell you that tomorrow you will start your first day at the academy."
She blabbered incoherently in a completely flustered state as she tried to become angry, as if being wrongly accused of doing something wrong.
But she knew, deep down, that she had been in the wrong this time.
