Despite all the heartbreaks and the false promises, Fenix just couldn't quiet the beating of his own heart. He wanted to be a swordsman.
Even if this new method that they were trying on him wouldn't work, he would still prefer trying it out instead of just assuming it didn't work. At least, he wouldn't have to wonder in the future what could have been.
He turned to Sheina and Fudge. "What do I have to do?"
The two Rebornians smiled at each other when they saw this change in Fenix. This was the kind of indomitable resilience that the Reborn company appreciated.
"You just need this," Sheina said as she held out the ice cream cone towards Fenix.
The Knight looked at the chocolate ice cream with confusion and a little bit of doubt.
"That is the strangest medicine that I have ever seen," he said.
"It's not medicine. It's a dessert!" Fudge corrected him.
This was even weirder. How could a sweet delight ever fix the injury in his heart?
