The group spend a week in the village before deciding it was time to move on. The group is at the village gate bidding farewell to everyone else. Aella and Aeife really enjoyed spending time in the village, they bonded too.
On a cliff overseeing the village is a Vampire lord sending the group off as he weeps. Surprisingly, the group never found him. He wipes his tears with a handkerchief as he waves it at them, "Come back quickly! You did good distracting that girl from me, I finally had a week for myself. Come back soon so I can get more peace." He bids them farewell.
The group turns to leave by the carriage, the gates close behind them. The villagers start to disperse but Thorn is still watching, he has a very sad look. His thoughts, "*Sighs* That annoying girl is going to be here any minu- "
Licia appears beside him, "Hi Mister Fang!" she waves at him.
Thorn turns to look at her, "Ri~ght. No more me time." He turns to walk back to the cave as Licia bugs him a lot with questions, maybe too much questions. His thoughts, "Oh master, how long must I deal with this." A tear goes down his handsome face, maybe Chuck would compete with him for most handsome.
Back to the group, they travel nonstop for days travelling west. Licia told them Aeife's home is to the west and that happens to be on their path to the promised dungeon. A cloaked figure appears above the village thousands of kilometers in they sky watching the carriage. The figure stretches his hand out as a clock appears in it.
Fast forward, 3 weeks pass before they arrive before a forest. The forest seems dark with magical creatures roaming inside, despite being daytime it's surprising night inside. They enter the forest travelling slowly until the carriage comes to a stop.
Aella is surprised, "That's odd, these horses never stop till they reach their destination."
Aku is frustrated, "We've travelling for weeks, do we even know where we're going?"
Flint shrugs, "Honestly, I don't know. System says to continue until she tells us to stop."
Aku leans back into her seat, "Urgh, we could move for months at this rate." Aella opens the window to see what's happening outside, they're surrounded by soldiers.
Aello turns back inside, "Uh guys, we're surrounded."
Aku looks out the window, she isn't even surprised. "*Sighs* This was bound to happen anyway. We might even wander of into the demon king's castle at this rate."
Aeife gives a wry smile, "The demon territory is west after all." Aku sighs again.
Aella opens the door and steps out, "I am Duchess Aella Celeste Zephan of Zolkia. I am on a mission to continue west. Who are you people?"
The soldiers are silent, one walks up to her and takes the helmet off. This alone reveals that they're elves, shocking Aella. Aella gasps, "Elves!" the group in the carriage hear. The soldier is about to speak then his eyes wander into the carriage, "Princess?" shock is all over his face.
Aeife steps down shocking all the soldiers as they immediately bow down. Aella turns to look at Aeife surprised, "Princess?"
Aeifi smiles wryly, "Sorry I didn't mention that, it's just that I- "
Aella waves her hands, "Don't worry about it, I guessed you were from nobility with your conduct so this checks out." Aeife smiles and walks to Aella, Aeife starts to speak with the soldiers as the carriage remains silent.
The trio in the carriage are dead silent as a certain someone sweats rivers, it's obvious. Flint taps Chucks shoulders, "Chuck, what have you done?"
Chuck turns mechanically to look at Flint, "N….N….Nothing."
Aku glares at Chuck, "By any chance, did you take your antics to the princess of a country?" Her question causes Chuck to flinch. Aku facepalms, "What a pain, you better hope her father the king is cool with this."
The dark figure is high up in the skies watching them, he holds his chin. "This will take too much time. TIME MANIPULATION (LEVEL: 9) > TIME FORWARD." Time across the entire world starts to move quickly, this figure follows the group to the palace in the forest city. The king welcomes his daughter back, they celebrate with a feast, they talk at the feast. An execution is organized for Chuck, the princess pleads for his pardon, the king lets Chuck go despite hitting on the queen.
"Wait what?!" Time comes to a stop. The wind blows on the figure as the hood comes off. This person is actually Srex Alcore, Xeno number 6. Srex laughs out loud, "HAHAHAHAHA! That Chuck Devlan is really something, he's got balls to hit on the queen. Well, he didn't know she is the queen. Interesting, I'm starting to enjoy watching them, maybe I'll keep an eye on them more often. Aeife has a crush on Flint so Chuck went for her mother? HAHAHAHA this guy is going to kill me. TIME MANIPULATION > TIME FORWARD."
Night falls as Flint and Aeife talk into the night on some balcony, Chuck is receiving a lecture from Aku, Aella giggles. Day breaks, Flint, Aku, Chuck and Aella say their goodbyes to Aeife. They enter the carriage and leave the city with an escort, they arrive outside the forest and keep heading west.
Srex is eating a sandwich, he finishes it up. "Well, I guess it's time I made the dungeon. I'll make it 120 floors, 117 for each Xeno replica as a boss. The 2 floors remaining...…. I can use the first floor as a trial phase and the last floor as a treasure trove. Yeah, that's not a bad idea." Srex flies ahead of the quartet vanishing from sight.
The quarter keep riding the carriage through the night, they're asleep as the horses pull the carriage through a cave. The cave is dark as sounds of water keeps echoing through it. The horses pull the carriage through a waterfall as a wondrous site comes into view.
This place seems to be a bit hole in the ground with waterfalls from 2 sides, and a lake with a structure on the center. There're beautiful plants and birds flying all over the place, kind of like an exotic get away.
