Shin stared at Yhwach, his Reiatsu beginning to stir. Sensing Shin's intent to fight, Yhwach's expression shifted slightly.
He didn't want to fight Shin right now.
This was the Seireitei. A battle with Shin Uzumaki would undoubtedly draw the attention of Yamamoto.
But that was Yhwach overthinking things. If Shin decided to act, he wouldn't need Yamamoto's help. Shin could cripple Yhwach all by himself.
Perhaps Yhwach was just overestimating himself.
"I didn't come here to fight you,"
Yhwach said, sensing the dangerous aura coming from Shin.
"Then what are you here for? Sightseeing?"
Shin asked with a playful smirk. He had a pretty good idea of why Yhwach had come. It was most likely to propose an alliance. After all, Yhwach's situation was dire—he had no subordinates left. Shin wondered if he could still use Auswählen to revive them. Probably not. They weren't of much use to Yhwach anymore.
After they died, all their power would return to Yhwach, making him even stronger.
"I want to invite you to join forces with me. Together, we can rule the three worlds," Yhwach stated his purpose.
Originally, he had come to subjugate Shin. But after arriving and feeling the threat Shin posed, Yhwach didn't dare make such a claim. If he had, Shin probably would have beaten him to death.
"Invite me to rule the three worlds with you? That's an interesting proposition." Shin's face was all smiles, but he had no intention of agreeing.
"You're not willing?" Yhwach believed that Shin Uzumaki couldn't possibly resist the temptation of power. Did he not desire it?
"I'm not like you. The things you desire are worthless in my eyes," Shin said.
Shin truly had little interest in power.
For him, power was within arm's reach, which was why he didn't care for it.
With his strength, Shin was already above everything. He didn't need any more power.
Yhwach was different. The poor man had been sealed away for a thousand years.
"Besides, since you've shown up here, you're not leaving." Shin smiled at Yhwach.
"I was actually looking for you. You delivering yourself to my doorstep is awfully generous. And since you've been so kind, I can't be impolite. Your life is mine."
As he spoke, Shin unleashed his terrifying Reiatsu. It was the first time Yhwach had ever encountered such a force.
Even the Soul King, the linchpin of this world, didn't possess such pure and terrifying Reiatsu. The immense pressure slammed into Yhwach, paralyzing him.
At the same time, every living being in the Soul Society could feel Shin's power. This was the first time Shin had fully released his Reiatsu.
Ordinary Soul Reapers collapsed, unable to move. Even the Captains and Vice-Captains were crushed, struggling to breathe. It was hard to believe this was just raw spiritual pressure.
Even Genryusai Yamamoto found it difficult to breathe.
"I really can't imagine what gave you the courage to come looking for me. But since you're here, it's my duty to send you to your death."
Shin placed a hand on Yhwach.
At this moment, Yhwach couldn't even speak. Only he understood just how terrifying Shin truly was.
Over the centuries, Shin's Reiatsu had been constantly growing. Shin himself didn't know how monstrous he had become. If he had to describe it, he had probably transcended the limits of this world.
"Your Almighty can alter the future. I wonder, can you alter the future of your own death?" Shin asked Yhwach.
At that moment, Yhwach felt the thick presence of death.
'Copy.'
Shin consumed a Replication Card, copying all of Yhwach's abilities. Though Yhwach was currently paralyzed by his spiritual pressure, his abilities were quite impressive. Shin wanted them, so he copied them.
"You have no value to me now."
Shin said calmly.
He raised his hand, about to crush Yhwach. But even at death's door, Yhwach wouldn't just sit back and wait for it.
"Auswählen."
Yhwach used Auswählen, absorbing the power of other Quincy, including Jugram. Jugram's fate no longer mattered.
What mattered was that he didn't want to die. If he had known how terrifying Shin Uzumaki was, Yhwach would never have provoked him.
"
An arrow of light shot towards Shin, but he simply raised his hand and crushed it.
"It's useless. The gap between us is dimensional. You can't cross it," Shin said flatly.
The Yhwach before him was no stronger than Aizen with the Hōgyoku—their power levels were comparable.
Even Aizen had been helpless before Shin, let alone the current Yhwach. He stood no chance.
A single hand struck Yhwach's body, and his form was annihilated by Shin's palm.
