Hard work always yields results. Tien and his subordinates were working tirelessly to build their kingdom.
"You see this spot, this is where we will settle down."
Pilaf had chosen to settle at the very core of the continent; the exact center point of this land was calculated by him.
Their next task was to get rid of the surrounding mountains and open up an empty plain area, for them to live in.
"Leave the task of flattening all the mountains to me."
"Tri beam Ha!"
Emperor Tien used his Tri Beam to flatten these tall mountains, and open up an empty space they desperately needed.
Next came the buildings; Pilaf had already modified their capsule houses to be aerodynamic; they just needed to be arranged in the right places.
"I will put all the capsule houses in their planned locations; I will be done in no time."
Yamcha took this opportunity to run around and plant capsule houses, with the king's castle placed at the very center of the land.
With the mountains now gone, there was a risk of storms coming and shattering their homes, so they needed protection from stray winds.
"Stand back; I will use my telekinesis and raise a wall around our city."
"The winds will never disturb us again."
Chiaotzu used his mental energy and controlled rocks on a massive scale to raise protective walls around their city.
He continued working without food or water until all the work was done.
With the walls finally raised the raging winds disappeared, and a tranquil atmosphere quickly spread throughout Tien's newly built kingdom.
But there was one last thing missing: which was to plant Tien's flag and announce the Triclops kingdom's official birth.
"Citizens of the Triclops Empire, we did it!"
Tien waved at his cheering citizens while he stood on top of his castle, and planted the Triclops flag, officially establishing his empire.
This whole operation took them three days to complete; Pilaf was right in saying this'll he quick work with their help.
Soon, night fell and a new sun rose. Today was the empire's first morning, Tien and Launch had woken up after spending the night together.
They were now sitting at the dining table, which was purposely made for kings.
"This is so nice; I feel like a queen inside and out."
Launch smiled in a silly way while poking her dino egg rice. She couldn't believe a petty thief like her, had become a queen.
This was the benefit of staying true to her love. She had chosen Tien when he was a homeless hobo, and now he is an emperor.
Her dedication towards him had paid off, and now she was the only queen of the Triclops empire, the only queen-
"Wait a minute!!"
Launch banged her fist on the table, like she suddenly realised something.
"You want to build a Triclops empire, but we can't possibly have that many children."
"Tien, are you planning to marry other women, now that you are a king?!"
Launch was furious; she couldn't believe she had missed this important detail when Tien had explained his plan to her before.
"Of course I will marry other women, preferably strong ones. That's my only option."
Tien ate his food unbothered.
"How else am I supposed to revive my species? I am the last Triclops alive."
"Unless you want our children to 'keep it in the family' to 'keep the bloodline pure.'"
Tien rolled his eyes, and Launch laughed angrily; the food on her plate didn't taste good anymore, and her mood was sour.
She stabbed her fork into her egg rice and took a hard bite; glaring at Tien, she spoke with her mouth full.
"Who are you trying to marry? Do I know her? Is it Bulma?"
Launch almost broke her teeth while mentioning Bulma; she remembered just how desperate that girl was back in the day.
"Where did that come from? No, Bulma and I have nothing going on."
'Yet'
Tien said the last part internally, but Launch narrowed her eyes suspiciously, although before she could ask, Tien ended the conversation.
"Believe me, I really don't have anyone in mind right now."
Launch still felt a bit suspicious but had to let it go. Truth be told, after Tien's explanation she understood where he was coming from.
Both for Tien's dream, and their future children's well-being, he has to go through with this idea.
But understanding doesn't mean her anger towards him was gone. She huffed at Tien and stomped out of the dining room.
"Emperor Tien, you have made your wife upset."
Chappa chuckled and came into the dining room while riding on a robot horse.
"She isn't angry; she's just upset. Give her some time, and she'll understand."
Tien rolled a fork between his thumbs; he was a skilled manipulator and knew exactly what Launch was thinking.
Her eye movements, hand positioning, and body posture all suggested that she was just venting her anger.
He had taken this opportunity to mention the topic of marriage, so she could be mentally prepared for it.
"If you say so, Lord Tien, I had come here to ask about our nation's motto."
"What type of nation are we supposed to be? What is our focus?"
Being the minister of the Triclops empire, Chappa believed it was time to decide what kind of nation they wanted to be.
"Our national focus? I think it should be martial arts."
Tien thought for a bit and decided what their core beliefs will be.
"Triclops were once hailed as godly beings; martial arts is in our blood."
"I too am a martial artist, so are you and the citizens around me."
"That's why, I believe, our nation should be a nation of martial arts."
"This will be our nation's motto."
Emperor Tien's decision resonated with Chappa; he too was a king who liked living in his own martial arts temple.
"Excellent decision Lord Tien. But to run a martial arts nation, we need laws."
Chappa took out a list he had made using Bulma's books and his expertise.
"Our nation needs laws and regulations for martial arts training, which the citizens can follow."
"Do you know someone who has enough knowledge to create laws for a fighting nation?"
When Chappa finished speaking, Tien rubbed his chin thoughtfully; he knew two people who were deeply knowledgeable about martial arts.
One of them was his first teacher, Master Shen, and the other person was his second teacher, Master Roshi.
"I will ask Master Roshi for help. He knows about martial arts more than anyone else."
"If there is someone who can help me write the laws for my empire, it would be him."
Tien decided to go and meet Master Roshi; after a night's rest, it was time to start working again. Who said running an empire was easy?
But before he goes, he'll leave behind three clones who'll do hardcore training on his behalf; this will make him stronger when he returns.
Triclops's powers are truly amazing; if he were born a Saiyan, he wouldn't be able to do stuff like this.
