"Mura? Who is that?"
Luo Di clearly remembers all the teachers' names from his school days, except this one feels very unfamiliar.
He climbed out of bed and quickly put on his clothes.
Considering his disheveled appearance upon waking, he didn't immediately head to the living room but instead made a quick detour to the bathroom to freshen up.
"Is this me?"
Wiping away the mist from the mirror,
the reflection was not of a high school student at all, but rather more like a homeless man living under a bridge, the kind who hadn't bathed in ages.
With shoulder-length black hair, scraggly beard, a gaunt face, receding gums, and even a few missing teeth, Luo Di felt as if he hadn't eaten in a long time.
Strangely, though, he didn't feel hungry; instead, he felt light, as if he'd realized something.
Luo Di found a pair of scissors and quickly tidied up his hair, cleaning his face as thoroughly as possible.
Once he looked somewhat human, he exited the bathroom.
