Inside the interrogation room, Qin Fan was seated on a tiger bench. In front of him was a desk covered with notebooks and various documents, behind which sat three uniformed officers with stern faces.
"I thought you said I was just assisting with an investigation," Qin Fan asked with a casual smile. "Does assisting an investigation involve being put in an interrogation room on a tiger bench? Are you trying to bully me because I don't know the procedure?"
BANG!
As soon as Qin Fan finished speaking, one of the uniformed officers slammed his hand down hard on the desk. The loud noise echoed throughout the small room.
"There's a good reason you were brought to an interrogation room! Your death is imminent, and you're still spouting nonsense!" the uniformed officer rebuked harshly, his face a mask of righteousness.
