Qin Fan laughed dismissively. They found out about my conflict with He Haolin yesterday this quickly. It seems someone was in a real hurry to file a report.
Amidst the circle of police, Qin Fan maintained his calm and composed expression. "Yuchen, are you scared?" he asked, smiling at the anxious Ji Yuchen.

Before Ji Yuchen could finish, a police officer impatiently cut her off. "Cut the nonsense and come with us!"
Qin Fan's expression instantly darkened. He glared and said coldly, "Say that again."
An older police officer pulled the young officer who had spoken behind him and then faced Qin Fan. "Please come with us."
"Qin Fan, let's just go with them!" The trouble with He Haolin was one wave that hadn't yet settled, and Ji Yuchen was terrified Qin Fan would stir up another. Though she had never experienced such a situation and was gripped by fear, she had no choice but to urge him on.
