Watching the young boy pack the leftover food into a paper bag as best as he could, Lance's face seemed to carry a hint of expectation.
"You have high hopes for this young man?" Elvin asked.

Lance nodded, then shook his head, "Once the Federation Government reaches a military alliance with Slade, more refugees will flood in."
He turned to look at Elvin, then towards the others behind him, "Why did we originally stand up?"
Elvin replied, "Because they want to deal with Ethan."
Lance nodded, "That's one reason, our reason. What about Hiram?"
Hiram shrugged and said nothing.
Lance didn't expect him to answer, as he had already given the answer himself, "Because we're poor, because without change, we can't survive."
"Look at all the refugees in the New Port District, how many of them can fill their stomachs, and how many are struggling on the brink of life and death?"
