To night, the dance is more of Persian style. The bells chime away as they move and shake their hips. With five dancers on the stage, the sound of the bells with the drums beats in the background, the men and women in the brothel are all watching. Amongst them, JunWang in an open boudoir is watching from the top floor. Fei is siting beside JunWang watching Hu Li on stage.
"My brother, your eyes ..."
"Sheng Cai, i can't see but i can hear and feel the beat."
"You are amazing. One of those amazing talented person i am glad to know. The other amazing one is on the stage now."
"Oh who is it?"
"Your friend. I found out that she dance here."
"Oh who is it?"
"The place where you enjoy your meals. The cook, Hu Yu'er."
Fei open his mouth and nod his head. He open his fan and fan himself. He watch his friend looking at the stage. An uncomfortable feeling stir in his heart.
While Hu Li is dancing with the steps that she remember. As she dance, the light breeze begins to built up. As they move, their skirt swirl with the sound of bell chiming. Suddenly there is a scream and someone said there is fire. The dancers stop dancing and look around. The musicians hurry to bring their instruments out and run. The dancers all hold hands and attempts to run out with the madding crowd of people. In the mess, Fei hold her hand while she let go of the other hand.
"You look beautiful."
"This is not the place to compliment me..."
Hu Li look around to see everyone is rushing out. She look at him seriously.
"You did this?"
Fei nod his head and look smirk.
"You know it goes against the rules..."
"Don't worry. I did not create a big fire. Rather a small one. I just put a spell on the servant to think its a big fire."
"Why did you do that?"
"Why? Cause i don't want to see you dance for other people."
Hu Li don't understand why is he suddenly like this. However they walk out calm and not panic like the others. JunWang come running to them. He hold Fei's arm.
"Heavens! I was searching for you! Lucky Yu'er finds you... Not hurt are you?"
"No my friend."
At that moment, a light rain comes. Sheng Cai look at Hu Li who is looking up in the sky. She look down and hold Fei's hand.
"JunWang, i will bring Fei home. Please take care..."
"Well, stay in my mansion to night..."
Hu Li look at him and blow a smoke out to him. Upon smelling it, he close his eyes. Fei catch hold of him. Together they gently put him down on the shelter part of the building. They walk off together but Hu Li turn around to look at Sheng Cai. Fei see the sad look inn her eyes through her mask. He keeps quiet and they continue to walk in the light rain.
The day after, Sheng Cai continue to appear in the inn for lunch and dinner. Sometimes he book the VIP room. Fei and some of the friends of Sheng Cai occasionally join him for a meal. While at the inn, he never fail to appear in front of Hu Li. Each time, he appear in a different appearances. A scholar, a general, a physician, a merchant. Whatever job occupation that he can think of, he would dress up and come to the inn to impress Hu Li. While she totally ignore him and work herself in the kitchen. Meng Lan cannot drive away a customer thus she watch him everyday doing some odd show. At night, in their boudoir, they talk about it.
"He will soon get tired of this. I will just ignore him eternality."
"Hu Li, i am just curious who is he to you?"
Everyone in the boudoir keep quiet and avoid talking about this. For they know that if they talk too much, she might cry and becomes a broken feline person. The image of her sitting by the tree with a broken look makes them sad thus they refuse to talk about it. Hu Li knows that she should hold her emotion well. If not thunder will strike anywhere in town. In the end, Dong Mei pull him out of the boudoir to the vegetable patch. She tells him the story. Fei then understand. It's a fate that unbreakable.
For the next few days, Fei try his best to pull his new friend away from the inn. However his new friend seems to be intrigued by Hu Li. He constantly ask about what she likes and what she does on her free time. Fei try to use his magic to wipe the memory of his friend however it seems like days after he will remember and return to the inn. In the end, Hu Li decided that she should leave and return to her cave house. Dong Mei and Yang Yang follow her. Together they travel through the night and they reach the snowy land. In there, Dong Wan and Dong Dong is is living for a long time. They are surprise to see the ladies back in the snowy land. The time is not for them to return. They live in peace for a long time. Out of boredom, Hu Li will dance. In this snowy land, Hu Li dress in her white gown with red trim. She did not tie her white hair. Her feline face with red lines and red dots. The crystal on her forehead shines brightly.
