Chapter 489 - Scandal in Harrenhal: Prelude

(Drakken's POV)

"She wants to see my sisters." Saera told me, "We have to bring them here. Please."

I sighed and leaned back, "I don't think so."

We were in the Manse, in the city. I had decided to humor Saera and stay here for a bit longer. Sylas and the boys were outside, doing who know what. Sometimes they were in their own world.

Saera sat down next to me, "Drakken, I don't ask for much."

"You ask plenty." I said with a scowl

"Not anymore!" She said, "I….I care for my sister, damnit! I don't want to see her like this!"

"Then let's go. That way, you won't see her at all." I said, "You don't seem to understand, Saera. Daella chose this, she chose Aemon."

She frowned at me, "Are you still hung up on the fact?" She asked with a soft tone, "That she could have been yours? If that's what you're going to use as an excuse, I don't buy it. You are Drakken, you could have just taken her by force!"

I looked at her, "Now, that won't be nice."

"You aren't meant to be nice!" She said

"Yet you want me to be nice and bring the others here." I shrugged, "If Maegelle or Viserra wanted to be here, they would have asked. Frankly, I am surprised they didn't."

"You told them to stay." She said

"I didn't." I said, "Do you really think Maegelle ever forgave Aemon for his hand in Daranne's death? Daella didn't deserve the heartbreak but Maegelle's heart was wounded when she heard the news. She doesn't want to look at her in the face for feeling that there was a sense of justice delivered."

She looked a bit surprised, "What?"

"Accidents.." I said as I looked ahead, "They claimed it was an accident; Daranne's death. But they were still responsible. Funny how fate works, Saera. Aemon took hand in the death of my wife and he died by a weapon crafted by her son."

She looked down, "You didn't plan this…." She said, "But you're glad how it turned out."

"Of course I am." I said as I looked up, "I hated that fucking guy. Always with his Morality, speaking down on others as if he was superior. He was a pathetic human, one that disappointed me."

She looked at me, "Drakken….."

"I miss Daranne…." I said, "I am happy that Aemon is dead. It is as if Fate is repaying her back."

"Fate would repay her back when you bring her back." She said, "Instead of bringing back others who aren't her."

I looked at her, "Watch what you say, my beloved Saera." I said seriously, "You know damn well why that is the case."

She stood up, "I just want my sister to be happy."

"She will be." I told her, "Don't you worry about that. As long as her two daughters are with her and alive, she'll be happy."

"Nothing will happen to them."

(Third Person POV)

Outside the Manse, Baelon Targaryen approached the young Drakkengard boys as they were playing.

Sylas was watching as Maekar and Maelor were both swinging wooden swords at each other, laughing cheerfully. It was a rare sight from the twins; seeing them with such bright and carefree smiles.

Sylas knew this and decided to take it in, cherishing the moment. He didn't seem to notice Baelon who stood a couple of feet behind him.

"Lord Sylas." Baelon called out

Sylas turned around to see him, "oh." He said, "Prince Baelon."

Baelon stepped forward, "I wanted to speak to you." He said, "It was your weapon that killed Aemon, fight?"

Sylas looked down, "It was."

Baelon was giving him a serious look, "We must be careful with what we have and what we make, Lord Sylas." He said seriously, "Otherwise, others will suffer for it. The choices we make will impact the lives of others."

"You're right." Sylas said, "The choice I made….it impacted The Princesses lives. They are now without a Father….every choice has its consequences. I realize that now."

Baelon nodded, "I am glad you-"

"Just like Aemon's choice to aid in the plot to destroy the Dark Shade resulted in my mother's death." Sylas said with a serious expression, "Choices. Consequences."

"Lord Sylas…." Baelon started

"It is the same." Sylas said, "And you also made that choice, Baelon Targaryen."

"That was….." Baelon said before stopping himself and letting out a sigh, "I understand."

"You do." Sylas said, "I won't want to hear any complaints from your nor your sons. If I do, I will remind you one thing…."

"Our Houses aren't friends."

[Near The God's Eye]

Mya was following Riktor's tracks which were rather fresh. She had her body low, inspecting the footprints as she scanned the area.

She had a hunch of what was going on but part of her didn't want to believe it. She found the trail and followed it all the way towards where Jocelyn and Maegor's cabins were located.

She was crouched down, running her hand on a boot print.

"Riktor….." she whispered, "Please don't tell me that…."

She stood up and made her eay forwards, following the tracks. After several minutes, it led her past some brushes and a clearing near the lake.

She looked in front of her and saw the cabin that was built for Maegor. She knew that Maegor was currently overseas, dealing with some issues that had arisen.

She narrowed her eyes, "Tchh…"

She slowly crept up to the side of the cabin and noticed that there were in fact more footprints that belonged to not just Riktor, but to another person; a woman.

Mya stared at the group of footprints for several seconds, trying to process what she is seeing. The more she looked at them, the faster her heart was beating. She was beginning to feel a bit anxious about the situation, not wanting to believe it.

She was still low, in order to not be spotted. Going alongside the wall slowly, Mya made her way towards the cront of the cabin, which faced the path towards the lake.

As she reached the closed window, she heard a soft moan followed by a voice.

"Stop….no….we should stop…." Mya recognized Visenya's voice through the window, "R-Riktor…"

"We're not going to stop." Riktor's voice was firm, "I want you badly…."

Mya began to sweat slightly and slowly peeked through the window, seeing that on the couch, Riktor was atop Visenya while the two were naked.

Mya's face was a bit pale, "What….?" She said softly,

"What is this?"
