Jiang Yuan ultimately didn't end up going to the cafeteria but bought herself and Brother Yan a cup of coffee as she passed by the school's café.

"Thanks, girl." Jiang Yuan said with a smile as she took it. Because she didn't have time to return to the dormitory in the morning, she asked Tu Ling to bring the book she needed for class directly to the classroom.
"About last night with Senior Xu?" Tu Ling glanced at Xu Jiayan on the podium, hesitated a moment, and inquired.
Tu Ling isn't one to gossip; her asking must be out of concern for Jiang Yuan.
"Oh, I drank too much at the dinner party last night and didn't want to disturb you guys, so I stayed at Brother Yan's place." There's nothing that can't be talked about openly, better to clarify everything upfront than to let others speculate and guess.
