But the people of Hope Town wouldn't give these Demon Bosses a chance to escape. Some teams were specifically dispatched to the rear to hunt down these high-level Demon Bosses.
One reason was to obtain higher rewards from the dropped items, and the other was to disrupt the rhythm of the Demons' attack.
Many also noticed that the initial Demons attacking were mindlessly charging, but as the Beast Tide advanced, the Demons started showing intelligence, targeting relatively weak spots to break through the human defense lines.
This change was directed by higher-level Demons with commanding skills.
So, by taking out these Demons with command skills, the Beast Tide would scatter into disarray, giving humans control once again.
Thus, being repeatedly targeted, these intelligent Demons inevitably grew fearful.
