"I think so too." Brooke nodded.
"Come to think of it, I haven't seen you around the territory for days, and you've gone from being a Basic Professional to an Intermediate Professional?" Locke only now noticed this.
After all, he'd been an Intermediate Professional for a long time, so he didn't pay much attention to this.
Brooke smiled as he listened. "Yeah, I went out with the team to farm monsters—oh, 'farm monsters' is what they call it, basically we went to hunt Demon Beasts. Most of us who went out have already become Intermediate Professionals. And, only Intermediate Professionals are allowed to come back and rest."
"So many? You went near Bengala Town?" Locke asked instinctively.
After all, their own village chief had run off to Bengala Town as well, only coming back as an Intermediate Professional.
