Compared to the lush greenery of Hope Village, the Beastman Kingdom, because of its geography, was generally flat, with clearly defined dry and rainy seasons.
During the rainy season it was fine; basically, all territories had enough to eat and drink. But once the dry season came, it was different—the land became extremely parched, resources began to run short, and in the dry season, occasional unusual weather was actually a blessing for them.
So, every dry season, to snatch a bit more resources, beastmen sent out more troops during territory wars, attacks on cities grew more brutal, and the more brutal they were, the higher the casualties.
