After receiving instructions from Dr. Jarir, Furqon and Zafran hurried to the main conference room of Fortex Intelligence to meet the head of the Multi-Galaxy Division, Gibran. The room looked futuristic, with holographic walls displaying maps of galaxies and twinkling stars, as if projecting the atmosphere of outer space.
Gibran, a tall figure with a calm face and sharp gaze, waited for them at the center of the room. Known for his deep knowledge of space and intergalactic technology, Gibran was a respected leader at Fortex. As they arrived, he welcomed Furqon and Zafran with a slight nod and gestured for them to sit.
"Welcome, Furqon and Zafran," he said in a low but authoritative voice. "Dr. Jarir has explained the outline of your mission. However, before you begin, there are some things you need to understand regarding dimensions far broader than you might imagine."
Furqon nodded, while Zafran listened attentively. "What do you mean by broader dimensions?" Furqon asked curiously.
Gibran gave a faint smile. "Our division doesn't only focus on this galaxy, but also on other dimensions and universes that influence each other. Sometimes, events in other galaxies or dimensions can impact the course of history in our world. You may not face this now, but it's important to be prepared for such possibilities in the future."
Zafran raised his eyebrows, slightly surprised, and asked, "Does that mean we should prepare for interdimensional scenarios?"
"For now, your focus remains on our own dimension," Gibran replied. "However, if you encounter anything unusual or anomalous during the mission, we in the Multi-Galaxy Division will be monitoring and ready to assist. I just want you to know—you're not alone. We're here to support you."
Gibran then displayed a holographic projection of several temporal points on the central table screen. "These are points we suspect to be vulnerable to time anomalies. You'll receive alerts from us if any unusual interactions occur."
Furqon observed the points with growing curiosity. "If we find something strange, what should be our first step?"
"Report it to us immediately," Gibran responded firmly. "We have special protocols to deal with interdimensional anomalies. And remember—do not act rashly. Interacting with energies or entities from other dimensions is extremely risky."
After finishing the briefing, Gibran stood. "Good luck with your mission. Fortex Intelligence is relying on you to maintain stability not only in our own time, but also to prevent effects from other dimensions that could impact us."
As Furqon and Zafran left the conference room, they felt the weight of their responsibilities grow heavier. This mission was no longer just about exploring time; they now realized the world they had to protect was far larger and more complex than they had ever imagined
