Trey looked at the clock on his Status Band and saw that the time for the Training Room was about to end.
"Two minutes and the one hour is done," Trey muttered, but instead of relief, confusion was evident in his voice. "And she's been there for at least thirty minutes…"
Trey leaned back on the railings and looked toward the anti-gravity elevators.
The people below—Primers or normal humans—went about their day, each in their own world and at their own pace. They wore smiles on their faces, some stoic, some frustrated as they dealt with the annoying ads popping up in front of them.
As he observed these people, Trey's thoughts wandered, until they circled back to the Training Room behind him.
