"I think this is what Michele and Sandy meant when they said it wasn't a good idea to date an employee," I groaned as I lit a cigarette. "I don't know how I'm going to face him when we get to the Dominican."
"I think it's an unsaid rule to never said an employee. I think Dove is sensible enough not to blow up on you. He is hurt right now. He's going to hate your guts."
"Wow thanks," I rolled my eyes before I took a long drag needing the nicotine to push away my nerves.
"Listen! He is going to hate your guts but one day he will understand. When he has healed and moved on you'll be able to sit down with him properly to tell him you're married. Right now you won't get through to him. He's only going to feel anger and pain. Just give him space."
I hummed and nodded, "Maybe you're right."
