I kept on trying to clear my throat but my lips felt like they were becoming bigger and bigger. In fact they were becoming more numb the longer I played it off. Tears were gathering in my eyes and it felt like I had drunk fire.
What kind of drink made your mouth feel like it was on fire! Miley and Bucky were talking business whilst I tried to pretend like I was fine but then I realized I'm not fine and I'm not okay. I tried to open my mouth hoping air could cool it down but it only made it hotter.
Bucky looked at me with raised eyebrows before his face slightly fell, "Dove, you alright?"
I shook my head and held my throat. I rubbed against it and rasped, "it's hot. It's too hot!"
He took the cup from me and sniffed it before he gasped. "It's a wasabi latte! What were you thinking ordering a wasabi latte?"
"I didn't know. There weren't any pictures," I cried out. It felt like a hole was being formed in my stomach as we spoke. "I can't feel my tongue!"
