Dove
I had to bite the inside of my cheeks as I saw Bucky's face become drastically pale as I took a step away from him. My face started burning and for the first time it wasn't because he was making me blush.
My heart felt like it was being ripped out of my chest the more I looked at him. When I thought of it now he looked just like Benecio. The pain in my hands felt like it was starting all over again as I looked down to them.
"Dove," he whispered, "I didn't know he did this to you. I thought it was someone else."
"And you thought two thousand dollars would be enough to make the pain go away," my eyes glazed over temporarily before Billie Bob came with his excited smile.
"You should go home, Dove, get a good night's rest and celebrate with your family. It's your last weekend of peace. Trust me the boss man here is a tough man. I almost done resigned myself and it's my own damn company," he loudly laughed tilting his head back and beaming, "he's just like his Pai."
