But instead of obediently drinking it like she was supposed to, Violet simply stared at the vial with a look of deep scepticism on her face.
"I already swallowed the first one!" she pointed out, even as she recalled Uva's warning not to trust the witch in front of her. It was something Uva herself had found difficult—especially since it was obvious, from how much they looked alike, that the woman was most definitely her real mother.
"That was to temporarily cut off the bond you had with each other. This one will completely erase it!" Lady June explained.
Her words made Violet outwardly gasp, shocked that she would so casually ask her to drink such a thing without telling her first.
"…You didn't think to ask me first? Why would I want to sever the bond?" Violet demanded.
