He had received the first form from Flame Lord Agni, one of the legendary Flame Lords of the Immortal Realm.
From what Agni had told him before handing over the technique, the Finger of Destruction first appeared in a ruin said to date back to the Primordial Era.
Back then, all seven forms of the technique were revealed on a single tome, meant for one person. However, since everyone wanted it, an extremely chaotic battle erupted, and thousands lost their lives.
In the end, the tome containing the technique shattered into seven pieces, each falling into the hands of a different person.
Agni was one of the fortunate few to obtain a fragment. Fortunately for him, he escaped with his life, but in the end, he wasn't able to cultivate it.
