At exactly 11:00 PM, Blaze stepped forward into the darkness of the abandoned rail station tracks. He moved towards the old industrial zone, guided only by the bright glow of the full moon.
He could tell someone was watching him from the shadows as her approached a dark path. But he did falter in his steps, his aura dangerously calm and calculated.
Just then, his phone vibrated in his hand.
A single glance at the private number lighting up his phone screen told him that the call was from the anonymous individual.
He answered the call without hesitation, his voice calm but chilly.
"I'm listening."
"Did you come alone?" Came the same trembling female voice.
"What do you think?" Blaze smirked devilishly, his eyes darkened with a lethal inferno.
"I don't trust you because I know how you operate. But you have to promise you won't kill me. And also, you must promise to protect me after I tell you what I know?"
