Deep within a cave located in the far West of Vallmora, a frail and pale cloaked figure leaned and curled up against the hot desert stone.
He had travelled far in order to get away from Olympia... Having nearly met the blade of someone presumed dead.
Was he going crazy?
Was this the end of the line?
The same fate as King Rider?
Skylar groaned, feeling the cold flesh of his throat tense up.
As he let his eyes flutter open, the sight of countless drawn ruins surrounded him... Revealing the memories that he had only recently gained...
"No! Stop!" His dry voice screamed out, whilst Skylar himself clutched at his throat and remembered the terrible choking sensation.
"Chop Chop! We aren't done yet Zombie..." The woman said, her long green tinted fingernails tapping against the cavern wall impatiently.
"That isn't my name!" Skylar cried out, feeling the green sigils pulsate periodically across his body.
The cloak fluttered in the midst of the being that had taken him hostage.
Sure enough, underneath the cloak... Skylar's body did in fact resemble that of a zombie...
His flesh had turned purple and green in most places aside from his chest... Large gashes held every spot that wasn't already taken by the horrible ruins that had been forcefully placed upon his temple...
"I can't watch this anymore..." Another feminine voice said with annoyance, before turning around making exaggerated vomiting noises.
Skylar turned slowly, his eyes twitching as he looked at Star of House Aries with nothing but hatred and hurt...
"You- You betrayed me..." He growled, squeezing his own throat and blocking the air from traveling in and out of his lungs.
Star turned around, her eyes narrowing as she looked down at Skylar from about eight or so meters away, hanging just near the entrance of the cave.
Star rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Dear Hextra... Can you please let my ally go and cease from this pointless torture?" Star half heartedly asked the woman with green tinted hair and sickly eyes.
"No." The woman with the name of Hextra shook her head and said flatly as she began carving another ruin on the stone wall.
"I did my best..." Star shrugged before leaning back against the cave entrance.
"Besides... I wasn't wrong... You wanted power and I gave you someone who can give it... Don't hate the chain that holds both ends together..." Star shrugged again, letting a yawn and a stretch fill her next actions.
Skylar had lost all hope, letting his body go limp against the wall once more, he allowed the goddess to use whatever means... As it was just a means to an end after all.
He did in fact ask for power beyond what he currently had, and Hextra seemed more than willing give him just that.
Hextra then grimaced, putting a hand tightly spread across her face as she began to laugh.
"No no no... That isn't right, I never said that you were supposed to just take it! You have to struggle! Please Zombie just fight against it! It's the only way!" Hextra cackled and creaked, swaying back and forth as her glowing eyes filled the darkness in the cave with a tinge of that same dark green.
Star skipped back and forth in the midst of Skylar's torture, several times she would stop and listen to the sounds of his screams with a terribly amused look on her face every single time.
"Oh!" She yelped, putting her hand upon her mouth and looking up out of the corners of her eyes.
Skylar ceased his screaming and Hextra ceased her laughter in order to lend both pairs of ears.
"I should probably visit Father soon, I bet he is really angry about my rebellious phase... But all the more reason to visit him... Hextra if you remain by my side... I can probably just kill father right?" She giggled with the question, catching both Hextra and Skylar by surprise...
"Kill Zen?" Hextra asked with the tilting of her head.
"Me?" She laughed.
"You are foolish little girl... If you think that a mere lesser Goddess like me would stand a chance against that being of carnage... Then you have a rude awakening incoming, Star..." Hextra continued to laugh as if it had actually been a joke.
Star frowned, rolling her eyes and taking a seat on the stone floor.
"Some Goddess you are..." She groaned, leaning back and letting her head land on the stone floor.
Hextra rolled her eyes with her back to her champion and clicked her tongue in disbelief.
"Besides... We have a golden boy to kill..." Hextra whispered, licking the green lipstick off of her chops while looking down at Skylar with a curious expression tainted on her face...
