Chapter 70 - Chapter 70: Dealing with the Iron Monger w/ bare hand, Electrotherapy

As a last-ditch effort, Stark redirected his remaining energy to charge toward Thor's manor, his voice echoing across the night.

"Uncle, help me!"

Thor, who had been observing from afar, felt a wave of exasperation. Natasha, now aware of the situation, had called in a team of agents—and she overheard Stark's cry for help.

So, this is the great Iron Man? she thought, incredulous.

When Peggy Carter herself confirmed Thor's identity to him, Stark had begun to trust Thor's capabilities. And after hearing from Rhodey about how Thor had beaten Abomination, he was convinced Thor could handle Obadiah's Iron Monger. Right now, pride was a small price to pay if it meant saving his life.

Obadiah, meanwhile, was in no rush to kill Tony. Like a cat playing with a mouse, he kept his distance, letting Stark run himself down. Before they knew it, they'd crossed into Thor's territory.

Exhausted, Stark was now running purely on physical strength, his energy reserves depleted, keeping only the bare minimum to stay alive. Suddenly, he sensed a blur race past him, followed by a tremendous impact from behind.

"Boom—" Before the Iron Monger could react, a powerful strike hit its chest, sending Obadiah flying backward, a smoldering hole left in the mech's armor.

Staggering to his feet, Obadiah saw the blond figure in front of him and roared, raising his massive iron fist—a blow strong enough to crush a tank.

Hidden in the shadows, Tony clutched his chest, muttering, "Typical brute. Just because he's got strength, he thinks he's invincible…"

Tony could see the force of Thor's strike and the devastation it caused. But Obadiah, seemingly undeterred, prepared to charge again.

Thor caught the Iron Monger's massive fist with one hand, then yanked it forward and stomped down on its shoulder. With a loud crack, the mech's arm tore off.

If Obadiah were wearing exoskeleton armor like Tony's, the pain alone would've brought him to the ground. But the Iron Monger was a fully enclosed robot, with Obadiah safely hidden within, controlling it from a protected cockpit.

Even so, Obadiah was shaken. Panicking, he raised the mech's other arm and prepared to fire.

"Watch out!" Tony shouted from his hiding place.

"Time to die, you relic of a World War II!" Obadiah sneered, pressing the missile launch button.

A missile shot toward Thor, but with a quick punch wrapped in lightning, he deflected it, the explosion leaving him unharmed.

Obadiah, now fully terrified, tried to fire again. But Thor's lightning was faster—a precise bolt shot from his fingertips, short-circuiting the weapon system in an instant.

While Obadiah was stunned, Thor dashed forward, grabbed a piece of the chest plate, and tore it off. He gave Obadiah no time to recover, ripping off the steel panels one by one.

Tony was speechless. He knew Thor was powerful, but this was beyond his expectations. Thor was tearing the Iron Monger apart with his bare hands—more brutal than the Hulk himself.

Inside the Iron Monger, Obadiah was panicking, a foul smell filling the cockpit as he lost control. Desperate to escape, he struggled to get away, but Thor clung to him like a lion latched onto a wildebeest, pulling him apart piece by piece. A massive current surged through the suit, overloading its circuits. The Iron Monger sparked, then went dark.

"No, no, this can't be happening! Let me go! I'll give you all my shares!" Obadiah shrieked in terror, immobilized as Thor ripped away the last piece of armor, pulling him out and tossing him at Tony's feet.

"Idiot. After tonight, your shares won't be worth anything."

"Nephew, I'll leave this one to you. Or, if you don't have the stomach for it, I could always show you a bit of Electrotherapy." Thor held out his hand, a spark of electricity flickering at his fingertips.
