Chapter 547 - Chapter 547: Inhumans

Shin wanted to see how many superheroes Earth could produce under the pressure of the Chitauri, but the key issue was that the Chitauri hadn't even reached Earth yet before they were already falling apart.

Just as this group of Chitauri approached Earth, a small spacecraft flew from the moon, and then a strange shockwave spread throughout the entire universe.

With a loud crash, the Chitauri spacecraft exploded into firework-like clusters in a crackling blaze, as if they had hit an electric fly swatter. A few large motherships held on for a while longer, then one by one they also exploded, leaving only two shaky motherships, carrying the last remnants of their forces, to fall to Earth.

"Oh my god! What exactly happened? Such a powerful vibration energy reading!" Mister Fantastic, Tony Stark, and others watched this scene, each with an expression of disbelief.

Shin's face showed a strange expression: "Is this... Black Bolt?"

Shin had never really paid much attention to the Inhumans on the moon. These guys might actually be the most technologically advanced people on Earth... even though they don't live on Earth.

Putting everything else aside, these Inhumans have spaceships and can even perform interstellar teleportation directly. Even if this interstellar teleportation relies on abilities rather than technology, it's already far superior to other Earthlings who are confined to Earth.

However, the Inhumans of Attilan, the lunar city, are far more isolated than the people of Wakanda. Wakanda at least has some interaction with Earthlings. The Attilans had no connection with Earthlings before the arrival of the Great Era.

And Black Bolt, as the leader of Attilan, a super Inhuman among Inhumans, his combat power alone overshadowed all of Attilan. Just moving his mouth could cause terrifying tremors like a natural disaster. If he were to give a speech like the American president, he could flip the entire Earth over.

It could be said that this guy was completely a monster of the super-nuclear-bomb level, and his physique and strength were extremely powerful, at least on the level of Spider-Man. If converted to a mutant, this guy would be equivalent to an Omega-level mutant who had already reached full potential.

Aside from not being able to control his abilities well and therefore not being able to speak, this guy had practically no other weaknesses.

Inhumans are completely different from mutants. As weapons created by the Kree, there is no such thing as a "useless" ability among Inhumans. Basically, any ability awakened by an Inhuman can at least be put to some use.

But similarly, the upper limit of Inhumans is far from as high as that of mutants. At the same time, all Inhumans invariably have their own genetic defects, unlike mutants who can have truly perfect ability users.

After all, the technology of the Celestials far surpassed that of the Kree. The Kree's experiments were only imitations of the Celestials; how could they truly surpass the original?

Black Bolt can be said to be a perfect creation meticulously cultivated generation after generation with Inhuman technology. His abilities are comparable to an Omega-level mutant, but because of this, he has reached his genetic limit, unlike mutants who can still improve their combat power. This guy's strength has never increased in the comics.

But precisely for this reason, Black Bolt can be said to have debuted at his peak. Not considering those lucky individuals connected to the powers of the multiverse, this guy is arguably the strongest super-powered individual on Earth today, at least one of them.

"Black Bolt? Who is Black Bolt? Was that guy using some kind of vibratory energy just now? But there's no medium in space, so how did he solve the problem of energy propagation? Was it space itself that vibrated, or dark universe energy?"

Reed Richards, Mister Fantastic, asked with curiosity. Shin blinked. He wasn't an energy physicist, nor had he studied Inhumans, so how would he know the answer to that?

Although Tony Stark was also curious, as the current director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and with a much more reliable personality than Reed, he unhesitatingly grabbed Mister Fantastic, stretching him out completely.

"Reed, you idiot, don't you see what time it is? Two motherships have fallen to Earth!"

Mister Fantastic Reed only then reacted, frantically wanting to calculate: "Right, I should first calculate the landing of these two large motherships."

"I don't think we need to calculate," Shin's expression was a little strange: "Both ships are falling towards New York. If my estimation is correct, one will land on Stark Tower, and the other on the Statue of Liberty."

Tony Stark and General Ross's faces immediately turned very grim.

Shin also found it quite amusing. As expected of the American comic world, these aliens are all flocking to America, and New York is the epicenter of the disaster.

Seeing the enemy motherships fall to Earth, Mister Fantastic and the others immediately accelerated their spacecraft to full speed. Meanwhile, Reed was still chattering incessantly.

"Appearing in New York? That's great, I've conveniently installed intercontinental missiles on the top floor of my building, I can directly remote control them..."

"Wait, Reed, you idiot, you actually installed missiles in a busy area of New York!" Tony Stark's eyes widened, grabbing his collar and immediately spewing a torrent of words at him.

Mister Fantastic slightly retracted his head: "Well... to prevent some... special circumstances, you see this time... aren't they coming in handy?"

Tony Stark was almost fuming. He turned to look at the other members of the Fantastic Four, "Are you just going to stand there and watch Reed mess things up? Have you considered the consequences if that missile explodes?"

Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, slightly turned his head away, feeling a bit guilty. He was just a chuunibyou youth who couldn't resist anything cool. When Reed wanted to install missiles on the roof, he had voted in favor.

As for Ben Grimm, the Thing, and Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman, they naturally opposed it back then. But one of them was always a good-natured person, and the other, facing her husband and her brother, couldn't hold her ground.

At this moment, hearing Tony Stark's angry outburst, the two could only lower their heads and obediently take the scolding. Ben Grimm was so embarrassed he almost literally turned into a stone, and Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman, wished she could just turn invisible right then.

"Don't worry, because it uses negative-charge antimatter material extracted from the Negative Zone, this missile cannot explode unless a special method is used to detonate it," Reed said to Tony Stark, seemingly wanting to show that his method was foolproof, looking quite confident.
