Chapter 463 - Chapter 463: Challenge Accepted

With a calm expression, Shin raised his hand, drawing the attention of everyone in the room. He looked directly at Wonder Woman and said, "If it's just about taking down the Brother Eye satellites, that won't be too difficult."

"Master Ancient One can open a portal as long as he has the space coordinates. I believe Luthor has the precise satellite coordinates in orbit. If so, we can simply destroy all the Brother Eye satellites one by one."

He paused for a moment before continuing, "That would solve one-third of the current problem. What remains are the captured Justice League members and the transformed Brother Eye robots."

Wonder Woman nodded solemnly. "Agreed. Now, how do we deal with those remaining two issues? Do we have any way of saving them?"

Shin thought for a moment before answering, "I can design an electromagnetic pulse generator tailored to the specific frequency of the nanobots. Although we don't have the materials or manufacturing capability right now, Green Lantern can temporarily construct one using his ring. However, its scale will be limited it can only disable small batches of robots at a time."

"Unless we can reclaim my company's manufacturing plant, it'll be impossible to mass-produce it," Luthor added grimly.

Shin nodded. "As long as we have access to the raw materials, I can produce them rapidly."

"That won't be an issue," Luthor said. "I remember where the raw materials are stored. When the time comes, I'll guide you directly."

Wonder Woman then turned to the bigger threat. "That just leaves the captured heroes. I suspect they've been fully converted into Brother Eye drones. Luthor, Joker, Captain Cold, can you handle them?"

The three glanced at one another, the mood turning tense.

Luthor spoke first, a hint of reluctance in his voice. "Honestly, my Superman armor is only at its second iteration. I estimate that only by version twenty would I even begin to approach Superman's level of combat power."

The Joker grinned, clearly undeterred. "No worries. A brainwashed Batman? He's no match for me. I've dealt with him at his worst."

Captain Cold, however, was visibly nervous. "If Barry's truly controlled by the Brother Eye tech, I wouldn't even see it coming. He'd kill me before I could lift my gun."

The brutal truth was that Luthor and Captain Cold had only ever been able to oppose Superman and the Flash because those two had held back. If Superman ever truly wanted to kill someone, he could fly down from orbit and vaporize his target with heat vision before they could blink. His super-hearing and super-vision meant no conspiracy could elude him unless he chose to ignore it.

Similarly, if the Flash wanted someone dead, it would take only a dagger and a millisecond. Captain Cold's fancy absolute-zero gun would never get the chance to fire. The speed difference was simply too vast.

On the other hand, someone like Batman, who relied on intelligence and tactics, was actually more vulnerable once brainwashed. His combat ability might be enhanced through Brother Eye's tech, but paradoxically, he became easier to handle. That's why Joker was so confident in facing him.

Diana sighed and massaged her temple. When Superman and the Flash were allies, they were often neutralized by moral codes or external restraints. But once they were brainwashed, those limitations vanished. Their power became overwhelming, and it was infuriating to witness.

She took a breath and scanned the room. "Fine. Luthor, you'll work with me to handle Superman. Captain Cold, you and Shazam will deal with the Flash."

Pairing Shazam with Captain Cold was a strategic move. Despite the Flash's speed, his raw attack power wasn't particularly high. Shazam, with his magical resilience and raw strength, could take the punishment and stay standing. Most importantly, the Flash couldn't fly, giving Shazam an advantage.

Superman, however, was an entirely different story. A direct hit from him could launch Shazam through a mountain. That meant Wonder Woman and Luthor would be under far more pressure but thanks to the Phoenix Fruit and the Legendary Spring of the Drowned Twin, Diana's regeneration was formidable. She might not overpower Superman, but she could definitely keep him occupied.

Just then, Shin spoke up again.

"Actually, let me take Superman," he said calmly. "You all focus on taking down the Flash together."

Diana turned sharply toward him, her brow furrowed in disbelief. "Shin? Are you serious? Your powers alone might not be enough to handle Clark. Don't forget, Batman likely uploaded your data into Brother Eye too. Those robots were clearly programmed with a chaotic gravitational field. That's a direct counter to your spatial abilities."

She wasn't wrong. The chaotic gravitational field disrupted both gravity and space-time itself, clearly developed as a countermeasure against abilities like Kamui. It would neutralize any attempt to phase, warp, or blink out of danger.

Shin remained unfazed, though inwardly he made a mental note. 'Batman's been backstabbing his allies for years. Why would I be an exception? Still, I'll definitely have to settle this score with him later.'

He replied with confidence, "Don't worry. My strength has improved significantly during my time in the other worlds. I may not completely overpower Superman, but I'm not as far behind him as before."

He looked Diana in the eye. "If you don't believe me, just watch when we go to destroy the Brother Eye satellites. See for yourself."

Wonder Woman studied him for a moment, trying to detect any signs of bravado or false confidence. In the world of American superheroes, power usually came through mutation, divine blessing, or alien lineage. Rapid growth was rare unless there was some sort of sudden transformation or inherited power.

But Shin was different, he could travel between parallel universes. Who knew what adventures or enhancements he had acquired during his travels?

Finally, she gave him a nod. "Alright then. Superman's yours. But be careful."

Shin smiled faintly. Truthfully, his motivations weren't entirely altruistic. "Kryptonian blood… seems like it's time to take it a step further."
