"Did you hit them?" Shen Yun asked from inside the car.
Chen Ke put away the rocket launcher, and the red mist of blood instantly dispersed. The explosion left a stain of blood on the blue container, but the truck remained unharmed.
Two bullets shattered the rear windshield of the car, bringing Chen Ke back to his senses. He ducked back into the passenger seat and pulled out a large-caliber assault rifle.

"And now?" Shen Yun asked again.
"First, let's deal with those behind us." Chen Ke looked back; the troop transport was still relentlessly pursuing them, followed closely by an SUV.
"You want to blow them up?" Shen Yun was worried.
"No, just make them stop," Chen Ke said.
Shen Yun tilted his head, guessing what Chen Ke was about to do, shifted into first gear, and slammed on the brakes, reducing the speed from over 170 to just over 60.
