Chen Ke moved the stool and stood in front of the hanging clock again, turning back time to 2009. The scenery outside the window began to change, and a pale white light shone into the room, mingling with the gentle music and the sound of people's footsteps echoing in his ears.
Chen Ke took off the 19th-century clothes and threw them in the Illusion Dream Center, changing back into his suit. Pushing open the door, he and Parker walked out of a Walmart restroom.
"Did you pick this place on purpose?" Parker asked.
"No…" Chen Ke replied.
Using the Illusion Dream Center to travel through time on a large scale, their emergence was always random, and they had to use the clock to adjust time for traveling. Simple door-opening only allowed instant teleportation within the same era, which was quite troublesome.
