"D-damn it...!"
Caught in Zuke's grip, Frieza struggled desperately, trying to break free, but it was futile. Zuke coldly stared at the immobilized Frieza, narrowed his eyes, and then forcefully injected his magic power into Frieza's body.
That's right—Zuke intended to extract all of Frieza's life energy using magic, then devour it to absorb his power.
Initially, Zuke had debated whether to use Majin Buu's absorption method or simply consume Frieza's life energy to obtain his strength. However, after some thought, he realized that while Majin Buu's absorption perfectly preserved the target's abilities, it also came with unwanted side effects—like inheriting their personality and appearance.
For instance, Majin Buu's chubby form was essentially the result of absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai, inheriting both his temperament and physique.
Zuke had no desire to be influenced by Frieza's mindset or to have his appearance altered in any way. Thus, absorbing life energy was the better option.
Admittedly, this meant he wouldn't inherit some of Frieza's techniques, such as the Death Beam. But in terms of raw combat power, he wouldn't lose a single drop.
"What are you doing...? My power... is fading...!"
Frieza, now fully alert, suddenly sensed something was wrong—his strength was rapidly draining from his body.
Having never encountered Moro, Frieza had no idea Zuke was using magic to extract his life energy. But feeling his life force threatened, he couldn't help but plead:
"Zuke... spare me! I swear I'll never harm the Saiyans again!"
Under the threat of death, Frieza's pride finally shattered. In a pained voice, he begged for mercy, hoping Zuke might be a merciful Saiyan.
But Zuke wasn't like the original Goku, who would lend Frieza some "energy" even as he faced death.
Instead, Zuke intensified his magic output, swiftly extracting all of Frieza's life energy and condensing it into a glowing orb hovering above Frieza's body.
"B-bastard...!"
Pleading proved useless. Frieza felt his body grow unnaturally weak, soon losing even the strength to speak.
Once his life energy was completely drained, Frieza's eyes rolled back, consciousness slipping away. His "energy" rapidly dissipated—death was imminent.
Zuke had no intention of giving Frieza even a sliver of a chance to survive. His "Black Bird Requiem" stepped forward, reaching out with both hands to drag Frieza's body into its shadowy form.
Then, with a surge of darkness, Frieza's body was completely absorbed—erased from existence in the universe.
There would be no repeat of Resurrection 'F'—no chance for someone to gather Frieza's scattered remains and resurrect him. That possibility was now utterly impossible.
Zuke turned his gaze to the massive glowing orb floating before him—this was the condensed essence of Frieza's life energy.
In an instant, an overwhelming surge of power flooded through Zuke's entire being.
With a slight flick of his finger, the orb drifted to his lips. Zuke opened his mouth and swallowed the energy whole.
Though he lacked a scouter to measure it, Zuke was certain—his combat power was skyrocketing.
Previously, his strength had relied entirely on "Berserker State" and "Saint's Numeral" for amplification. Without those, his base power had been slightly inferior to Frieza's.
But now, after absorbing all of Frieza's life energy, his combat power had surged by over 100 million. Even without "Berserker State" or "Saint's Numeral", he had surpassed Frieza.
"Absorbing life energy is an incredibly powerful ability... I've underestimated it until now."
Reveling in the overflowing "energy" within him, Zuke couldn't help but marvel.
Now that he had deactivated "Berserker State" and "Saint's Numeral", his base strength had reached unprecedented heights.
In the past, he had somewhat dismissed Moro's abilities. Frieza's combat power was 120 million, but after absorbing his life energy, Zuke's increase likely exceeded that—he estimated a boost close to 200 million.
Unfortunately, at this level, even the latest-model scouters from Frieza's army couldn't accurately measure his power.
As for "Black Bird Requiem" absorbing Frieza's body, Zuke carefully assessed it but found no significant new abilities gained.
Frieza's techniques, like the "Death Beam", were learnable skills rather than innate racial traits.
The only notable ability obtained was transformation—but not in the sense of growing stronger. Instead, it allowed him to seal his current power, weakening himself temporarily, then release the seal to revert to full strength.
As Frieza had once explained, his 120 million power level was his true form, while his earlier transformations were merely sealed states.
However, Frieza sealed his power because he had never trained and couldn't control his full strength. Zuke had no such issue, making this self-weakening "transformation" utterly useless to him.
"Had I known absorbing Frieza's body would only grant such a worthless ability, I wouldn't have bothered."
