Zuke, now in the "Berserk" state, had lost his ability to speak, but his mind remained clear.
Unlike the Great Ape transformation, which causes a partial loss of reason, he could still think clearly—something Zuke found quite important in facing Frieza.
In any case, his combat power now surpassed Frieza's. He hadn't even used any of the special abilities from "Blackbird Requiem," nor did he need the Great Ape transformation.
"Ugh... Damn monkey, you actually...!"
As the Ki from the Kamehameha finally dispersed, Zuke saw the now-wretched figure of Frieza.
Though his body still retained a vaguely humanoid shape, it was covered in wounds and blood. His tail was severed, and parts of his bones were exposed.
Even Frieza's blood was red—on this point, he was no different from a Saiyan.
But for Frieza, who had never before experienced such intense pain, nor bled so profusely, the sensation drove him to a furious rage.
He roared with killing intent toward Zuke, but didn't dare to advance.
He was afraid—
Zuke's Kamehameha had made him realize a fact he had never considered before:
Someone was stronger than him, and that someone wasn't a god of destruction—it was a Saiyan!
If it had been Beerus, he might have accepted it. But this monkey before him... how could he surpass Frieza, the Emperor of the Universe?!
Perhaps due to this fear, Frieza's voice became much quieter.
Not because he lowered his tone, but because, in the vacuum of space, voices are transmitted via Ki. Frieza's weakened spirit caused his Ki to diminish, and so his voice sounded smaller.
Zuke floated opposite him, coldly observing.
Truthfully, he did want to taunt Frieza a little, even with something as simple as,
"What's wrong, Frieza? Weren't you going to kill me?"
After all, Frieza didn't have Saiyan blood. No matter how angry he got, he couldn't become "Super Frieza."
Unless he fled and trained for a few hours somewhere hidden.
But since Zuke was in the Berserk state and unable to speak, he didn't plan to waste time talking.
In the original series, Kakarot had let Frieza go after breaking his spirit.
Zuke wouldn't make that mistake—the main storyline explicitly required Frieza to be killed.
The two stared each other down for a moment—then charged.
Frieza, though fearful, saw in Zuke's eyes that he wasn't naive. This guy wouldn't let him go.
Zuke was already considering how to eliminate Frieza—and soon came to a conclusion. The next moment, their fists collided violently.
Zuke's expression didn't change, but Frieza's face twisted in pain. It felt like his bones were about to shatter under Zuke's punch.
Zuke's power had surged twice—Even at full power, Frieza was clearly outmatched.
Still, Frieza stubbornly refused to give in. As if clinging to a final hope, he launched a flurry of punches at Zuke, sometimes mixed with his signature Death Beams.
But every punch, every kick was easily blocked. Even the Death Beams were casually slapped away, blowing nearby stars to dust.
By contrast, each of Zuke's counterattacks left deep, bone-revealing wounds on Frieza, worsening his condition.
"D-Damn it!"
At last, Frieza realized the truth—In this state, there was no way he could defeat Zuke. His attacks posed no threat, while Zuke's every move caused injury. If this continued, he would soon bleed out.
He had to escape!
This humiliating thought surfaced in Frieza's mind.
He had always looked down on fleeing—especially when facing Saiyans. But now, facing Zuke, he couldn't help it.
He had to run. Though Zuke's power far exceeded his own, it wasn't yet at a level where a single finger could end him.
If he escaped now, found his father King Cold, and returned together—there might be a chance to defeat Zuke.
At worst, he could secretly train and make a comeback. His talent wasn't ordinary—he had always vaguely felt this. And unlike before, now he had the motivation.
With the thought of escape in mind, Frieza acted immediately. In a flash, he turned his back and shot toward a distant planet!
At full speed, Frieza was faster than his spaceship—Finding some remote world to hide on wouldn't be a problem.
"Trying to run?"
Zuke saw Frieza fly off and instantly realized his intent.
Frieza was indeed easy to break mentally—probably because he had never faced real setbacks before. In Dragon Ball Super, after repeated beatdowns from Kakarot and Vegeta, his mental resilience had improved a lot.
That said, Frieza's escape speed was no joke—Even with enhancements from "Berserker State" and "Saint's Numeral," Zuke's speed couldn't quite keep up.But he didn't need to give chase.
"Blackbird The World!"
With a low shout, the surrounding space fell still in an instant.
Frieza, who had already flown far, was now frozen in space. In the dark void, his pale figure was particularly eye-catching.
Zuke leisurely flew over. As "Blackbird The World's" time freeze ended, he seamlessly transitioned into using Gudou's time stop ability.
Just like that, Zuke easily reached Frieza, Then reached out and grabbed him by the neck.
Time resumed.
In the next instant, Frieza felt a hand clamp around his neck from behind—His rapidly flying body was suddenly stopped cold.
A look of terror appeared on his face—Because he hadn't even noticed when Zuke had gotten behind him.
