"Have you seen that young man? He's really handsome," whispered one of the curvaceous beauties.
"Yeah, and he's walking so closely with Mr. Stark. I wonder which aristocratic family he belongs to."
"The girl with him is gorgeous too. D*mn, it seems like I'm too late."
"Sis, you're not seriously into him, are you?"
"Aren't you?"
Stark couldn't help but smirk, thinking that Han Yu must be unaccustomed to such a scene. He was about to turn around to tease Han Yu about his awkwardness when he noticed that Han Yu's face remained serenely smiling.
Even when beautiful women approached him, he politely declined with a smile, even using Stark as a shield. Stark couldn't help but laugh and think, "This guy is impressive. He's so calm. This kind of composure isn't typical of someone in their early twenties. I'm more intrigued by him now."
Within just a few dozen steps, more than three stunning women had offered Han Yu their contact details, making Stark feel a twinge of jealousy. He couldn't resist teasing Han Yu.
"Han, I haven't even spoken yet, and you're already the star of the night. Quite the ladies' man, huh? So many eyes on you."
Han Yu chuckled. "Not at all. It's only because I'm standing next to Mr. Stark."
Han Yu's humble yet confident demeanor impressed Stark even more. He patted Han Yu's shoulder with a smile, his respect for the young man growing. Mysterious, powerful, yet unassuming—such a young man was definitely worth Stark's friendship.
In reality, Han Yu wouldn't dare to flirt with those beautiful women. Wanda, a powerhouse capable of destruction, stood right beside him.
Even without turning his head, Han Yu could feel Wanda's half-smiling gaze. Whenever a pretty woman approached, Wanda's small hand would sneak around Han Yu's waist and give him a sharp pinch.
Han Yu's face contorted into a pained expression, silently thinking, "Why are you pinching me? Being good-looking isn't my fault. I haven't said much to them."
Those few dozen steps felt like an eternity to Han Yu.
When they arrived at a secluded spot by the window, Han Yu's perpetual smile faltered slightly upon seeing the gathering—it was none other than the Avengers!
"Allow me to introduce my friends, Han Yu, and his girlfriend, Wanda," Stark announced as soon as they arrived.
Upon seeing Wanda, several Avengers exchanged concerned glances. Wasn't she one of the twin superhumans who escaped from the enemy base in Sokovia?
Stark could sense their discomfort and knew they shared his doubts. To avoid offending Han Yu, he spoke up proactively.
"There were some misunderstandings between Wanda and us, but now she's Han Yu's girlfriend. Let's put the past behind us."
Hearing Stark's words, they reluctantly set aside their doubts, knowing that stirring up trouble now would only make things awkward.
"Clint Barton, Hawkeye; Steve Rogers, Captain America; Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow; Bruce Banner, the Hulk; Thor Odinson; James Rhodes, War Machine; and Maria Hill, SHIELD agent. Tony has brought me to meet them. It's clear he wants to befriend me."
Han Yu scanned the faces before him, mentally noting their names while maintaining a smile on his face. "Hello, everyone."
"Tony, is this the person you wanted to introduce us to? Are you sure? He doesn't look impressive."
Thor surveyed Han Yu with a hint of disdain, expecting Stark to bring someone more formidable. To his surprise, it was just a young man.
Indeed, Han Yu was probably the youngest among them, barely in his early twenties.
Han Yu's expression remained unfazed by Thor's words. Instead, he smiled and met Thor's gaze directly.
"Judging a person by their age, Mr. Thor, with your thousands of years, doesn't seem to have made you much wiser."
Whoa!
The Avengers raised their eyebrows, exchanging surprised glances. This was getting interesting.
Looking at the young man standing in front of them, his posture upright, they never expected Han Yu to dare say such things.
Thor, the prince of Asgard, was born with a proud spirit. Even within the Avengers, his self-importance ranked among the top two. For someone to speak to him in such a manner...it was actually...quite amusing.
"Kid, are you challenging me?"
Thor stood up and approached Han Yu. At 1.9 meters tall, he looked down upon Han Yu, who stood nearly 1.8 meters.
Han Yu chuckled. "Isn't that precisely Mr. Thor's logic?"
"This young man you brought is quite formidable, facing Thor head-on without flinching. Where did you meet him?"
Captain America exchanged a glance with Stark beside him and whispered.
Feeling proud that the person he brought held his own against Thor, Stark smiled but said nothing.
Seeing Stark's silence, Captain America didn't inquire further and stepped forward.
"Thor, let's not fight."
Captain America intervened, mediating between the two. While he appeared composed on the surface, he secretly agreed with Han Yu's words.
Thor, with his age and experience as a warrior in Asgard, often preached to them.
"Mr. Han was personally introduced by Tony, so he's a guest. Let's all get along and avoid any conflicts."
"Alright, for Stark's sake, I'll let it slide."
Seeing Captain America offering an olive branch, Thor snorted and took the opportunity to back down, returning to his seat.
"Since we were just discussing who could lift Thor's hammer, you can sit and watch."
Stark made room for Han Yu to sit.
"I'll go first!"
Hawkeye was the first to step up, as he had initiated the topic. He had long been curious about Thor's hammer and whether it was truly as miraculous as Thor claimed.
Hawkeye grasped the handle of the hammer and pulled with all his might, but it felt as if he were gripping the ground rather than a hammer handle.
No matter how hard Hawkeye tried, the hammer didn't budge even a millimeter, let alone lift.
After several attempts, Hawkeye reluctantly let go, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head and saying, "I have no idea how you managed it."
Stark quipped, "It's like a silent judgment, silently disqualifying you from becoming a god."
Everyone laughed, and Hawkeye shrugged, gesturing with a "please" motion and saying, "Stark, why don't you give it a try?"
"Ooh, this is going to be good."
Stark raised an eyebrow, casually unbuttoning his shirt and saying, "I've never feared any challenge. This is just a matter of physics."
Saying that, he walked forward and put the leather loop Thor usually used to swing the hammer on his right arm, pulling with all his strength. Just like Hawkeye, it didn't move an inch.
"Hold on a moment."
Stark brought out an iron arm, attached it to his own, and grasped the hammer handle again.
Even with the iron arm's thrusters activated and War Machine Rhode joining him to pull with another iron arm, the hammer remained immovable.
Finally, when Captain America stepped forward, he pulled with both hands, and Thor's hammer shifted imperceptibly. Only Thor, Han Yu, and Wanda noticed this subtle change.
The jubilant crowd remained oblivious, but a flicker of seriousness crossed Thor's face before he turned his head, quickly replaced by a smile.
"It seems Captain America indeed has the qualifications to lift the hammer, but he hasn't yet made the realization. When he does, that will be the day he lifts it."
Han Yu remembered the scene from Avengers: Endgame in his previous life where Captain America lifted Thor's hammer.
In that moment of despair, Captain America lifting Thor's hammer ignited the audience...no, all viewers of Avengers: Endgame, instantly, with many shedding tears of joy.
"Rogers can lift the hammer?"
