Chapter 247 - Epilogue 2: Weddings under the Moon and Stars

To be honest, it might seem a bit abrupt, but at least in this moment, the joy was real—not an act.

During a holiday at St. Freya, no one knew whether it started as a casual promise or as a wish to preserve a precious memory for the future. Either way, a slightly absurd idea quietly took shape.

A wedding. Yes, a wedding.

The usually lively St. Freya was now empty, but decorated with bouquets of all kinds. Red carpet and green grass blended together, giving the place a unique charm. Today, Luo Mo, together with Luna, Kongming, and Theresa, stepped into the hall of marriage.

(T/C: Pffffffffffft! WTF?!)

It wasn't until the very moment she put on the wedding dress that Theresa finally realized—when her grandmother spoke of giving her a "great gift," had she meant simply helping her climb to the position of Archbishop… or had she meant this sudden wedding?

What kind of logic was "if you're already marrying two people, adding one more is no problem"? Theresa was deeply troubled, but she couldn't bring herself to refuse. The whole matter had been agreed to in a vague haze, and before she knew it, things had spiraled into something she could hardly imagine.

Luna and Kongming, they had originally been making use of the moment to work on their project. But not wanting anyone else to get ahead of them—and under someone's sly coaxing—they had been… tricked.

Sunlight, like shards of gold, spilled down onto the flourishing, silk-like campus, the air filled with the sweet, intoxicating scent of flowers. In one corner, purple crystal lights sparkled dazzlingly, and the elegant, sacred notes of a wedding march drifted through the air.

In the golden courtyard in front of Theresa's villa, the guests were mostly familiar faces. Flower girl Elysia had actually wanted to recommend Mobius, but the doctor had strong objections. In the end, the choice fell to Griseo, much to Elysia's great regret.

"Such a precious experience, Mobius~"

"You… Scram!"

Her good intentions weren't something everyone could appreciate.

Luna, one of the brides wore a European-style vintage black wedding dress, trimmed with red gemstones along the black lace hem, a crown of thorns on her head adorned with a deep crimson rose in bloom. The fitted gown accentuated her tall, elegant figure—at least among the three brides, she could claim the victory in height.

Kongming, however, favored an ornate Chinese-style phoenix crown and embroidered red silk robe, the gold thread forming mysterious constellations. Her long, silky hair was pinned up with a jade hairpin, the whole outfit giving her a dreamlike, almost unreal beauty—like a stunning lady from ancient times. Naturally, she truly was that kind of presence, so much so that Fu Hua had dressed to match, uninvited.

Theresa herself wore a gown both adorable and sacred, the white skirt flowing like clouds, adorned with golden crosses. Her deep blue eyes were as clear as the sky, just like her unchanged innocent heart. In her hands, she held a bouquet of pure lilies. Standing there—petite yet lively—she blushed under the gazes of so many familiar faces.

"Theresa goes first again…"

Kongming sighed over her drink, feeling a pang of defeat. They had agreed to spend the rest of their days together as single sisters, but in the end, Theresa had "betrayed" her.

"Hmph, Luo Mo really ought to thank me for this~"

Elysia strolled over with a tray in hand, scanning the crowd for a certain close friend. Spotting Eden and Aponia sitting together, she joined them. Setting the desserts on the table, she smiled sweetly at Eden, clearly fishing for praise.

"To pull off something like this… even if no one praises me openly, it really is unbelievable."

Eden took a sip of wine and chuckled helplessly. She had never before attended a wedding with four participants.

"Well, who can resist Luna? She asked me if there was any way to make an eternal contract with a Human until the very end of time, and I told her. Wasn't I so kind~?"

Elysia twirled a lock of her long pink hair, a mischievous smile playing on her lips—though perhaps with the faintest hint of shyness.

"But I heard," Aponia said with a shrug, "that you 'accidentally' revealed this to Kongming. And you made sure to tell her it was Luna, right before Luo Mo was about to be wed. No wonder she panicked."

A true professional middleman, if there ever was one. Aponia couldn't help but wonder if this pink-haired girl was really as flawless as she claimed—never lying, always honest. At least this time, she'd clearly left out a few details.

Rumor, after all, was a strange and powerful thing. Aponia had watched with her own eyes as Luo Mo was pushed step by step into a situation where there was no turning back. And in the end, it was Elysia—the "kind" little pink fairy—who presented the only "miracle solution," turning herself into his savior. And of course, he was still grateful to her!

"He's the one who said the Honkai Academy story was like that. I was furious~"

Elysia huffed, jabbing a straw into her juice and sucking fiercely.

"And yet you still agreed to play along with that game!"

From somewhere nearby, Kalpas's voice cut in, brimming with frustration—he'd clearly overheard everything. He couldn't understand what was wrong with this pink-haired woman and Luo Mo—were their minds damaged? Or were they simply more twisted than he was? His anger had nowhere to go.

"Because… even if it's a tragedy, it's still a world of memories," Elysia said softly, lowering her hands in a rare show of weariness. The juice swirled in her glass, reflecting her eyes. Her words carried a rustling fragility.

Her reasoning had succeeded in convincing him—and she herself believed it. Just like Eden's love for tragic beauty, Elysia wanted others to see not just the tragedy itself, but the meaning behind it.

"I heard you were the one who chose?"

"The boss was going to have Honkai Star Rail handle the sequel instead…"

Kiana, sitting at the next table, turned to look at her with a complicated expression. Good news: she was still the protagonist for part two. Bad news: the ending was even crueler than the first.

She didn't even have time to enjoy her lead role before the script hit her like a hammer—the Goddess of Earth herself couldn't accept such pain. If the first story had begun beautifully, gone through twists, and ended warmly… then the Honkai Academy version began heavy, went through despair, and ended in utter ruin. Who in their right mind uses the "Underworld Grand Reunion" as a finale?

"Luo Mo tricked me. He didn't tell me anything—just gave it a name that sounded better than the academy's." Elysia muttered to herself, stirring her drink with force.

"So this is how you repay him?"

"It's revenge!" she declared firmly.

"…Then can we take a little revenge on Su Lu too…?"

"Bronya!" Seele glared at her in disapproval, trying to wordlessly pressure her into dropping such thoughts.

"Heh, but you can't imagine it—when Luo Mo was hiding from people, he ended up bringing work back to the company overnight. He was drenched in sweat. In that moment, he was really dedicated~"

Elysia's smile couldn't hide her glee—not that she had any intention of hiding it.

Thinking back, it was quite a pleasant memory.

"Yes, exactly… simple, almost like a nightmare… Sister Su Lu rarely shows sympathy for the boss—she practically flipped MiHoyo upside down." Bronya couldn't help but shudder a little at the thought. Sure enough, his success came for a reason—and the price for it was by no means light.

That period of time, which Su Lu called the most leisurely work she'd ever done, was ironically the most taxing on her. Unfortunately, the boss still prevailed in the end—Su Lu would occasionally drop such remarks in passing.

Naturally, she was here today as well, though she sat at a table with Wendy, Anna, and the others.

"By my count, the boss should be arriving soon," Mei said after checking the time on her phone, her gaze carrying some unspoken thought as she looked toward a certain future groom.

"From the way they look at each other, I think I get it… But what about that 'auntie'? After today, what should I call the boss—'uncle-in-law'?" Kiana asked curiously, glancing around. Today that 'auntie' looked unbelievably young—so young that Kiana half-felt the boss might get hauled to the police station twice over in the future.

"If you haven't thought of a gift yet, you might want to prepare something for eternity~" Elysia said with a mischievous smile.

"Huh?"

"Shh, quiet—Luo Mo's coming out," Mei said, patting Kiana on the head in reminder.

Luo Mo, tall and steady like a pine tree, stood on the stage between three brides. His custom-fitted suit clung perfectly, each inch of fabric like a carefully sculpted work of art. The black synthetic fibers shimmered faintly—elegant yet not flashy, dignified yet restrained. In the end, he had chosen this neutral color; after all, the three women had picked vastly different wedding dress styles, as if competing with each other. He didn't want the outfits to clash in the final photographs.

He held their hands and stood before the guests. All those familiar faces now wore smiles of blessing, born from the beauty of the moment and their shared hopes for this marriage. A wave of daze swept over him—it was finally the moment he was to be wed.

A sudden nervousness gripped him, his fingers tightening unconsciously. His gaze met those of Kongming and Theresa in turn—Luna, they silently promised that, no matter what fate awaited them, they would face it together.

Elysia, in high spirits, stepped forward as the host of the ceremony. Though this was her first time in such a role, she brimmed with confidence. Originally, she had volunteered to be the officiating minister, but Kallen refused—this was a role Kallen insisted on fulfilling herself for this wedding. Her reasoning was strong enough that Elysia had nothing to say in rebuttal.

"Good evening, everyone. Today, we witness a wedding… of one couple—well, two… actually three couples! Though, the groom is, of course, the same familiar face."

"..."

Elysia's cheerful chatter kept the atmosphere lively.

"Luo Mo, do you take these three ladies as your wives, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, in wealth and in poverty, in times of peace and… war… until the end of your life?" Kallen asked, glancing at each bride in turn—her gaze lingering an extra moment on Theresa.

This was her chosen successor… and her beloved granddaughter. She had her own personal hopes—that Theresa's future would be better than her past. So she gave her a push, urging her to face her true feelings. And in truth, Theresa had never really rejected them—only been shy about them.

"I do," Luo Mo said, his voice calm and steady. But his heart was far from as composed as he tried to appear.

"And do you three…" Kallen continued through the formal vows. She had never imagined she would one day officiate Theresa's wedding—yet here she was, fulfilling a quiet wish she'd held for years.

The three brides, without making any untimely jokes, simply answered—whether shyly or with eager anticipation—"I do."

Then came the exchange of rings. Luo Mo slid the rings onto their fingers—symbols of the bond they would uphold for the rest of their lives.

The four of them—bound together by fate—stood united, their connection unbroken, unending.

The ceremony went smoothly, filled with laughter and joy. Guests raised their glasses to celebrate this beautiful moment. The weather, as if blessing the occasion, was clear and bright with not a cloud in sight.

…Night fell.

The world outside grew quiet. Cherry blossom petals drifted in the night wind beyond the window, moonlight casting a hazy silver veil.

It had been a long day, running until late into the night. Even though many things had been kept simple, the countless blessings and playful glances they'd received left all four of them exhausted. They hadn't drunk much alcohol, but the joy and relief after the ceremony had left them longing to collapse into bed.

Well… all except one.

Luna, one of them seemed more like an excited child—still brimming with joy, refusing to let her energy fade.

Now, however, came another dilemma.

"So… next, are we all… sharing the same bed?" Luo Mo asked hesitantly, glancing at the single large bed in the room. His heartbeat quickened despite himself.

"Th-this… um… Human, I…" Luna's face turned red like a ripe apple. Sitting on the edge of the bed, her arms hugged her knees, gaze shyly fixed on the floor.

"Hmph, we've come this far—there's no escaping now." Kongming pretended to be calm, but the affection in her eyes betrayed her feelings. She climbed into bed first, deliberately claiming the center spot so that no matter how Luo Mo lay down, he wouldn't be far from her.

"Mhm—" The other, Luna, quickly scrambled into bed as well, her large eyes slightly misty, occasionally darting toward Luo Mo.

But when their eyes met, she instinctively pulled back, feeling a strange, flustered tension.

"Ahem…! S-So, that's why… I also have to… keep my eyes on you two!"

"Right, I… I mean… I should probably also… stay in the same room as you two… On the same bed! The bed's… still pretty big… should be enough for all of us… huh?"

Theresa's face was so red it looked like it might spill over. The warm yellow lamplight stained the air with a hazy, ambiguous mood, making her tender, childish face look almost irresistibly enticing.

She gritted her teeth, stopped hesitating, and directly pulled Luo Mo onto the bed.

Taking it one step further, she pinned him beneath her, leaned down in a fluster, and kissed him—trying to take the initiative, as if declaring her claim.

Once she'd made up her mind, there was no way she could back down now.

"We… mmmph—!"

Luo Mo tried to say something, but she sealed his lips perfectly.

It turned out that when Theresa set aside her easy embarrassment, her unusual strength made resistance almost impossible without hurting her.

"Hey—! Even if I'm your 'big sis,' you can't just steal my away!"

Luna wanted to pry them apart, but her strength was overwhelming, and the feeling of being unable to fight back was a strange kind of torture.

Eventually, the two finally separated, a thin string of saliva dangling between them, their breathing heavy and eyes filled with lust.

"Haha… we still have plenty of time… Anyway, now that the small stuff is over… it's time for the main course."

"We're not holding back anymore."

And so, under the stunned gazes of the others—as if watching an earthquake—one of them started undressing him, tossing Luo Mo's clothes onto the floor.

Then they quickly stripped off their own, revealing smooth, jade-like bodies.

Theresa's eyes froze for a moment, then flared as if ignited, the fire in her gaze growing hotter.

Bathed in moonlight, she bit her lip, a trace of unwillingness flickering in her eyes, but the heat in the air made her blush deepen even further.

She too began to enter the mood—after all, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened between them.

"Human… I… I want in too!"

She joined the fray, her voice growing soft and dripping with sweetness.

The room's temperature climbed rapidly.

Sounds mingled together, playing a symphony of unrestrained passion.

The moon shyly hid itself away, and the night passed without sleep.

(T/C: wtf I just read?)

---

The next day, daytime.

Luo Mo could barely stand straight.

Last night's madness left him unwilling to even move.

Clothes were scattered all over the room—barely enough to piece together a single full outfit.

Well, it was their wedding celebration anyway. No need to do much else.

Many people had sent wedding gifts, and now the four of them were opening them one by one.

"…Uh… is she… being that obvious?"

Kongming squinted at a "battle challenge letter" from Irene—a cute little green travel hat.

Of course, the point wasn't the hat—it was the color.

Bright green.

(T/C: of course. If 3 Theresa are the wife. Then Irene would be the mistress who Steal. Her role as husband stealer fit her character.)

She'd sent three of them, all identical. No explanation was needed to guess the meaning.

What Irene was planning… Kongming didn't even dare think about.

"Does this have some special meaning? Human~"

Luna blinked her big eyes and bit her finger in a way that was strangely cute.

Her knowledge of certain "little facts" was always half-baked—nobody ever explained them to her, and she had no love for the internet. Aside from playing games with Luo Mo, she avoided it entirely.

Whenever she couldn't clear a game stage, she'd always make him do it for her. And she never wanted to back down to Kongming —proving that, yes, same-gender rivalry was very real.

"Uh… maybe it's a warning to be careful about… certain little dangers in daily life." Luo Mo replied, a bit embarrassed.

"Haha, good explanation. And yes, you should be careful about certain people sneaking around at night."

Kongming chuckled, while Theresa smacked her forehead in frustration.

So many people trying to cause trouble…

"A game console? Must be from Bronie~"

Luna lifted a PSP and carefully placed it on the table—it was, after all, a well-meant gift from a friend.

But when Luo Mo got to Vill-V's gift, he felt… strange.

It wasn't unusual—in fact, it was far too normal.

Knowing Vill-V, how could she possibly send something as plain as a set of ordinary health-monitoring bracelets?

She claimed she knew Luo Mo cared deeply about the health of his three lovely wives, so she sent three bracelets to track their wellness. And—she made sure to stress—there were no weird functions.

That alone made it suspicious.

Because in Vill-V's case, weird gadgets and Vill-V were basically inseparable.

Exercise bracelets? Was this great inventor really willing to work on something so boring?

Luo Mo had every reason to be doubtful.

"Let me check the manual… Oh, you just wear it and it'll track any negative health data?"

Luo Mo handed the three bracelets to the girls, and they put them on.

"Heart rate: 92. Weight: 49 kg. Blood pressure… Emotional state: Calm — 36."

Kongming frowned. Everything seemed fine—except for that last mysterious number… impossible to guess its meaning.

"Heart rate: 121. Weight: 48.5 kg. Blood pressure… Emotional state: Happy — 35."

Luna turned her wrist in the sunlight, looking at the bracelet like it was a new toy.

"Why's your heart rate so high?" Kongming asked in surprise.

"Because I'm next to the human, of course. Don't you understand what it means to have your heart racing?" she said proudly.

"Heart rate: 100. Weight: 49.1 kg. Blood pressure… Emotional state: Happy — 1."

"Wait… why is mine a 1?" Theresa was baffled. She didn't have any illness as far as she knew, and her numbers weren't much different from the others'.

"If that's the case… hmm, I think I get it. Although I never calculated it before, the number… actually makes sense," Kongming said thoughtfully.

But to be sure, they'd have to wait until tonight or tomorrow.

If her guess was right… then Theresa was being very honest. And at least one of them… not so much.

(T/C: wait... is that the number of S****?)

Luo Mo also suspected something, and turned away awkwardly, continuing to open gifts.

"Kiana sent snacks, Mei sent bitter melon juice, Elysia sent perfume, Bronya sent an invitation, and Mobius… pills?"

He paused for a moment, checked the instructions, and put them away.

He didn't think he'd need them, but… no harm in keeping them.

"This one's from Grandma—the appointment letter for me to take over Schicksal? And even a stock transfer? Wait, what—"

Theresa was startled. Was she supposed to take over Schicksal right after getting married? Wasn't that a little fast?

"From Su Lu, a fan. From Anna… will this ice melt? From Fu Hua, a feather—probably a keepsake."

Kongming stopped unpacking for a moment, staring curiously at the feather.

"Mm… so many gifts."

Under the moonlight, she stopped opening them, her curiosity fading, and just flopped onto the bed to rest.

Sniffing the scent on the bed, she thought about it, and her face flushed red.

Memories of… *less-than-innocent* matters surfaced.

"Ah, human, from now on, we'll never be apart again."

Luo Mo thought for a moment, just about to reply with a reassuring promise—

"He dares run away? If he runs, the only thing he'll get is parts of Luo Mo." Kongming smirked wickedly.

"..." Luo Mo didn't dare laugh.

"In that case… I want the head."

Theresa teased, shooting an amused glance at the embarrassed Luo Mo, smiling mischievously to scare him.

"That's mine," Kongming said, dissatisfied.

"Hey, hey, don't say stuff like that! How could I ever leave you guys? Luna, we'll never be separated," Luo Mo frantically shook his head, speaking seriously.

Although… that kind of future was a little scary.

"...Human, can… can I have the head? Will you give it to me?"

Luna shyly lowered her head, saying something that made Luo Mo's eyes darken instantly.

The other two didn't notice, but he knew it was necessary to stop this topic mid-way.

So he lunged forward, using actions to block those unnecessary thoughts.

This wedding—dreamlike as it was—made him feel his whole heart finally relax completely. So even though he knew exactly what roles certain people were playing in all this, he couldn't bring himself to hold any grudge against them.

This wedding was the greatest gift he could have received.

He would never forget everything that happened today.

---

...A few days after the wedding.

Luo Mo slowly opened his eyes, only to find himself in a strange room. When he tried to move, he quickly realized he couldn't—his wrists and ankles were bound tightly by ropes to a large bed. He struggled, panic flashing in his eyes.

"Where… am I?"

The last thing he remembered was falling asleep together with his three wives clinging to him. But now, he was in a completely different room that was definitely not his. Wait… why did this place feel so familiar?

Just then, the door creaked open, and a figure stepped inside.

"So, you finally woke up~"

The moment Luo Mo saw her, his eyes widened. Long honey blonde hair shimmered under the faint light, her sharp, enchanting reddish pink eyes watching him with a playful glint.

She wore a beautiful black-blue nightgown, with thorn pattern that wrapped around her figure like flowing sheer.

"Irene…"

Luo Mo's throat went dry as he gulp, his heartbeat racing with nervous fear as he struggled to understand what was happening.

"It wasn't easy to take you away," Irene said with a soft chuckle, her tone dripping with mischief. "But with a little help, I finally managed to kidnap you~"

"K-Kidnap…?"

Luo Mo's mind spun in disbelief.

Did she just admit it so openly? He had been asleep—how in the world did she manage to pull this off?

"Irene… where am I?" he asked.

Seeing him shake, Irene's lips curved into a smile. She leaned closer, her fingers brushing gently along his arm, slowly tracing up as if teasing him on purpose.

"We're inside your old room. More precisely… on the Hyperion."

Luo Mo's eyes went widen.

"The Hyperion is currently drifting in the Sea of Quanta," Irene explained softly, her gaze locked onto his flustered expression. "I've cut off all communications and erased any trace of us. No one will be able to find us… not for a long time."

His heart pounded as her gentle fragrance surrounded him—sweet and faintly floral, yet sharp enough to make his nose twitch. She leaned closer, her hand slipping under his shirt, her cold, soft touch making him shiver uncontrollably.

Watching his face flush red, Irene let out a quiet chuckle and licked her lips.

---

Meanwhile, at Theresa's mansion.

Panic filled the air.

Luo Mo had vanished without a trace, and it didn't take long for the three wives to realize who was behind it.

"Damn it… that witch!" Kongming clenched her fists, furious that Irene had stolen her husband right under her nose.

"This can't be…" Luna's face paled, despair flashing in her eyes as she remembered waking up to an empty space beside her.

"I've already contacted Grandma and the others," Theresa muttered, biting her nail as frustration weighed heavily on her. "They promised to help us find him."

"But how… how could she pull something like this off while we were all there…?"

The three wives sat in silence, fear and worry gripping their hearts. They knew Irene was a treat to them, but didn't except that she would pull this kind of stunt so early.

And now, their husband was in her hands.

It seemed her so-called "green gifts" weren't for nothing after all.

----

(T/C: As much as I understand. Luo Mo should represent most Honkai players. So, my question is: does all of players like Loli? Or is this just because Theresas are all straight not Yuri?)

(There is Himeko, Wendy, Raven, Pardo...🤔

(....yeah, Since Luo Mo is a version of Captain, the closes one in canon are Theresa... and Irene)
